[ Oh, hey, it's that guy from yesterday. His face is a little bruised, but he's not paying any attention to it, so you shouldn't either. Ahem. Move along. He just has a quick question, anyway: ]

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone has seen a notebook. I had it on me when I got here, but it's gone missing, and it's sort of important. It's red, and about this big - [ he opens his hand a few inches; it's not very big at all ] - and it has, uh -- well, it has lyrics in it, and some other notes. Kinda beat up. Can't really miss it.

So if anybody found it, or finds it, let me know. [ He raises his eyebrows knowingly; WHICHEVER FUCKER STOLE IT BETTER GIVE IT BACK. ] I'm Galen, by the way. It has my name in it, too; inside cover. Thanks.

Yeah, I am. Hey, Anna, I'm Galen. Which I guess I already said, buuuut, uh. How're you liking it here?

I bet it'll turn up. It isn't like anyone's dumb enough to steal from one another in a group this small.

[ Right? Hopefully, anyway. ]

Well it's nice to meet you, anyway, even if the circumstances aren't...great. [ There's a pause there, and then she returns the smile. ] You know, aside from all the weird things that happen, it's not exactly awful. I might be one of the few around here who think that, though.

[ Oh, Anna, you have no idea. He laughs a little, but leaves it. ]

Man, it's actually really nice to hear something positive. Like -- the others have been pretty friendly, so far, but there's been a lot of 'we're doomed' vibes. Which I guess makes sense, given the circumstances, but uh -- I make an effort to be as obnoxiously optimistic as possible.

[ Believing in the best in people seems to be her speciality - and also her downfall it seems. Don't shatter her faith in this little collection of rag tag lost souls, Galen, that's just cruel. ]

See I might have to leave the obnoxious optimism to you, I'm not normally one for it. It's just-

[ And yeah, she's not exactly going to keep spilling her secrets over the network to people, so instead she just shrugs and smiles. ] It's not too bad here, so long as you're careful.
