[ Feed flickers on and it's just showing the sky...and the curious sniffing nose of one of Logan's dire wolves. From the looks of it, he's just at the edge of the woods and just laying on the ground like it's any thing to do. But it's fucking cold...and Dean's not wanting to put up with this shit. His communicator shuts off for a moment before he's...sitting at the gazebo instead of staying at the house. ]

So...I'm guessing I missed the Christmas party? Anyone seen my brother? Anybody know what the hell happened? [ He'd stopped at the house but...Sam's stuff wasn't there. There wasn't really a sign that anyone had been there in a couple days.

It didn't really help none. ]

[ Anna's response is quick, almost immediate actually, but not exactly sympathetic or kindly in anyway. When her feed flicks on she has a very serious expression on her face, and her voice is sharp and curt. ]

Dean, are you alright?

[ That's apparently enough small talk, because she presses on quickly. ]

Where are you, we need to get you somewhere safe.

[He peers down at the communicator...is he alright? What kinda question is that?]

I've never been better. You know, missing time and all brings me back. [Not really.] Where's somewhere safe exactly,Anna?

[ She frowns slightly though, and at least that is some kind of reaction, right? But she certainly doesn't have the patience for Dean's smartass comments at the moment, which is why they largely get ignored. ] you didn't answer my question.

I'm not looking to be safe right now. That's actually the last thing I want.

[ He knows he can take care of himself. ] I'm the best I can be in the place I'm in right now. Your...brother told me about Balthazar. You need help looking for him?

[ She hesitates at the mention of Balthazar though, and after a moment she gives a small, short nod. Because that's what all of this is about, really. Making sure she doesn't lose anyone else that has made her shortlist of 'people she gives a damn about'. ]

I'd appreciate the help. We can look for your brother too.

[ He's pretty sure all angels in...from where they came from knew the key personality trait with all Winchesters. But he's also sure his list of 'people he gave a damn about' was way shorter than Anna's at this point. ]

[ Not that she's any more pleased about it. Still, just because he doesn't want her help doesn't mean she's not going to give it. She'll just have to be more subtle. ]

Logan? [ It's not that she's mistrusting, she's just...incredibly mistrusting. Sorry, nothing personal, Anna just really doesn't want anything else getting lost, secrets included. ] Does he...know, about us?

[ The 'us' in this situation being her and Balthazar, of course. ]

[ He smirks and shrugged before tsking a little and switching the video over to private for...Anna and the angels sake. Not that he doesn't think most of the residents will find out about the secret they kept. Own terms and not his place to say anything. ]

I trust Logan. Far more than I trust...a lot of people in this place. But he doesn't know about any of you. [ He didn't really know that much about Dean either. But it was all in due time, of course. Sooner or later. ] He has an edge, animal senses or some shit. He could sniff Balthazar out if we need him too. [ If Balthazar was even still there which was unlikely at this point. ]
