[ And okay, it's starting to become more clear that she's actually quite nervous, even if she can't quite pinpoint why. It's got to be the exposure, right? ] I wasn't exactly subtle. [ Did he see what happened? She's not going to start panicking about it now...except really she is. Still, her response comes with a smooth smile and a calm demeanour all the same. Inward panic is what Anna does best. ]

Yeah, things got pretty crazy towards the end there, didn't they.

[ Well that's just about the least subtle sigh of relief ever. ]

Hey, focus is good. Kept everyone alive, didn't it?

I'm sure my... 'contributions' didn't hurt, but I didn't help keep anyone alive.

Anyway. Glad yer alright. Didn't want that gorgeous smile goin' anywhere. [He gives her a playful lopsided smirk and a wink.]

Everyone helped. Don't think we all would've made it out in one piece if it wasn't for everyone's efforts. I mean, all I did was help people out of there.

[ Or something like that, anyway. She's got a kind of nervous laugh going - seriously, when's the damn penny going to drop already? - but she smirks back at the wink all the same. ] Oh, I'm sure you would've managed.

[Luckily for her, or maybe not, Logan had spent all of his time buried in scraps of metal monsters. He hadn't seen a thing. In fact, he barely could remember most of the battle.]

Managed maybe, but still woulda missed it.

Well, this smile lives to fight another day. [ It can't last, she's sure of it. Something has gotten her increasingly more panicked about exposure, and she can't quite stop that from bleeding through into her actions. An awkward cough, a rub of the back of her neck. Normally she's far better at the act, but today she can't cover up a thing. ] Have to make sure you see it more then, won't I. Make sure you saved it for a reason.

[He perks up a bit when it seems like she's offering some kind of actual meeting. Damn red heads.] Yea? [He's practically blind to the nervousness and anxiety she's showing, focused much more on the possibility of maybe eating some kind of meal together.]

That's good, that's really good. [ She'll take fine. Fine is better than some of the less savoury alternatives. The addition makes her pause though, and after a second she just huffs quietly before laughing. ]

I didn't save anyone. [ Along with a very nervous laugh, her response is quick and sharp. ] I just helped.

[ That at least earns a slightly tired smile, and she just nods. ] How about just agree not to try something that mad again for a while and we'll call it even?

I think I can hold off on doing that again for awhile. Yeah, deal.

...Are the watches working well for you?

Yeah, yeah they're fine. [ But she frowns a little, concerned. ] Why? Everything okay?

Mine's probably just broken. The image keeps futzing out. I'll have Tony look over it.

Yeah, yeah everyone got out okay. There were a few- there were close calls, but we were really lucky.

...We'll have more planning for next time... and that won't be until we're good and ready.

You think you can plan for what happened last time?

[ So much bridge of nose pinching. She'd like to just say "count me out", cut her losses and leave it, but well...look what would have happened if she hadn't come along last time. ]

We need to be smart. All guns blazing won't work, no one's doing that again. I won't let it happen.
