I am tired. D'you sleep? I dunno that angels sleep. I dunno that angels have nightmares, do they?

[ For a moment there she almost looks sad as she answers, but it passes quickly. ]

No, we don't sleep. I haven't had nightmares since I was, well... [ Vague gesture. ] Is that what's happening to you.

Not yet. If I go t'sleep they'll get me. Nightmares, real ones, but - but don't worry 'bout it, alright, just don't sleep.

Jesse, you're not making any sense. [ She's speaking very carefully now, she certainly doesn't want to antagonise him at all. ] Is that what's happening to you? Nightmares?

S'gonna happen to everybody. [ He insists. ] Yeah - yeah, s'gonna, they're in there. In here. [ He stares off to the left of the screen, scooting closer to the wall. ] But I got it locked down, or m'gonna, and as long as I'm awake they ain't gonna do shit to me.
