Best way to find
that
out is to keep an eye on the corpse, sweetheart. Keep him in your basement - if after a couple days all that's happened is he's started to smell like Pepé Le Pew, you can probably give him a good Christian burial. And if he starts screaming about where he is and what's going on and why there's a gaping wound in his chest, chances are he's alive.
