010 | Private Audio to assorted residents | Day 117
[Things suddenly got complicated. Crowley is a manageable annoyance, as far as Balthazar is concerned. He's been here before. Michael, though...
Honestly, he'd rather have Lucifer back, and he feels just a bit guilty for it.
The net result is that he's on edge and worrying what this means for certain friends and acquaintances around town.]
Private to Donna
I'd like to visit as soon as possible, if I may. Some of the new arrivals are...look, let me come and set up some warding for you, please, love?
to Ellen
Do you know how to angel-proof? Might want to consider it. We've got a volatile situation.
to Raphael
Have you met the boy with Dean's face? Alec. How close to Dean's genetic makeup is he, do you suppose, and what, if anything, ought we to do about cutting off potential trouble there before it starts? [Because he can't see Alec being anything but obnoxious toward Michael, and probably rather incautious, as well.]
to Castiel
[A brief, simple audio:] Cassi? Do me a favor and don't do anything foolish.
to Mina and Fortescue
Hello! I've been distracted by our new arrivals. If you're not worried, you should be. But I've promised to introduce you to one another. Would you be available to meet at the library after dusk? I can explain more then.

[Riley was right. He shouldn't have to be afraid of his brothers. He especially shouldn't have to be afraid of what his brothers might do to the people he cares about.]
We can't ward off your whole house. Not with Samandriel living here. But I'd like you to have an emergency room. Even just a closet or something. Might not hurt to demon-proof it either, honestly.
no subject
[ Please say squabble. Please say squabble. Please say squabble. It's not a squabble is it? ]
An emergency room? I like this idea. Let's hide in a cupboard! Hiding from the killer angels in a cupboard... I like this plan.
no subject
[Realizing he's frightened her, which wasn't his primary goal, he pulls her into a hug, hoping it's at least a little reassuring.]
Ssh. It's just a precaution. All right? It may not even be necessary. It'd just make me feel better.
no subject
But what about you? Can't exactly hide in an angel warded cupboard with me, can you? Since you're an angel and all...
no subject
I'll be all right, don't worry. Michael has a temper, but he's not a psychopath.
no subject
[ She leans into the hug for a moment longer before pulling away but not before stealing a soft kiss. ]
Please try not to get yourself angel-murdered. I kinda need you around.
no subject
[He returns the kiss, closing his eyes briefly, and sighs, smiling.] I'll do my best. Anyway, if something does happen, the place may bring me back, so don't worry.
And since when do you need little old me? [He strokes her cheek with the backs of his fingers, eyes twinkling.]
no subject
And I'd rather have you.
no subject
[She's picked up his mood a little, and he gives her another light kiss. But he came here for a reason other than basking in her affection.]
Where shall I put the wards, then? I'll do all but the last stroke, and you'll have to finish it.
no subject
[ She attempts a smirk but it comes out as a weak smile. ] Come on, let's go up to my room.
no subject
...You know, I was hoping for a different scenario the first time you invited me up to your room. [It had to be said. He's ready to follow her regardless.]
no subject
[ Is 'finger me' too crude? Can she say that to an angel of the Lord? Will God smite her down for that? Best not to risk it. ]
... celebrate the fact I have a nice save angel-free cupboard.
no subject
I'd like that, love. I truly would. Let's see how we feel when the work is done, shall we?
At the very worst, I'm game for a cup of tea and a make-out session.
no subject
I'm always up for cups of tea and making out with you.
no subject
I'm holding you to that.
no subject
And there, there is the cupboard. ]
So, what do we need to do?
no subject
If it's where you keep your lingerie, I'm game to help, but if it's just socks or something, I'll let you do it. [Grin.]
no subject
The cupboard doesn't have much in. Just junk, mostly. You know, one of those cupboards you chuck all the clutter in? We've got one at home under the stairs.
[ She sets to work emptying the clutter out, stacking it in a corner to sort through at a later date. She'll probably throw it all in the attic since there's no one living up there. ]
no subject
I've never had clutter. I haven't stayed in one place for any length of time, so far.
Actually, I suppose House 11 is the place I've stayed the longest, other than Heaven.
no subject
[ The thought of him not being here isn't one she likes.
But at least the cupboard is empty! ]
no subject
Honestly, I've been happier here than I can remember being, which is strange when it's such an unpredictable place. If it would just arrange not to tear away the people I like, I wouldn't even complain.
no subject
Maybe because we're so far removed from the boring mundane of everyday life like work and stuff.
[ She stands back to give him space to work, watching him with interest. ]
no subject
The issues that caught us up in our own worlds are put aside for the moment. Mostly.
no subject
The designs are definitely interesting. Donna's intrigued. ]
So those pictures. Are those that Enochian stuff you talked about? Angel language? It's pretty. I imagine it'd take awhile to write a book in it.
no subject
I've never seen a book written in it, to be honest. Perhaps I'll translate one of Chuck's some time.
