Dean Winchester | 008 | Video
Well, welcome to the other side.
[ Dean's been laying low since this place decided to turn into an episode of This Is Your Life, featuring some of his least favorite angels of all time, but after their stint in the tunnel, it seems kind of dumb. They know he's here, even if they didn't talk, and Dean knows they're here, and what the hell ever.
He's got stuff to say, anyway. He spins around in his chair, revealing the wall of monitors behind him, some of them showing feed from the Cape. ]
Now we get to see what life's like over here. Ever wonder what those cameras were hooked up to? [ He grins tightly. ] Found it. Lots of seats up here too to make it nice and cozy.
[ Dean's pissed, and it's thinly veiled, but he breaks off from that to look away and then back again. ]
Has anyone seen Charlie? Redhead, big nerd, game for miles. Tell her to call me.
[ She probably just got lost in the shuffle, right? (He can't even fool himself that much.) ]

Yeah? Wonder if he'll come back around. [ Sam is still wary about that guy. Probably always will be. ] Man, I have to say, I still haven't been able to figure out how they're able to shut off angel powers like that. [ And he snaps his fingers for emphasis. ] So far, I haven't found anything around here that could explain it.

Hey, at least we got plenty to eat. You find the kitchen yet? [ It had been one of the first rooms Dean stumbled upon. ]
Some weirdass stuff in there, but you know what I saw?
[ Brief pause for dramatic effect. ]
A lot of things that weren't deer jerky.

You don't say. [ He doubts they have
his one true lovesalad in there anywhere. But...it doesn't hurt to find out what is going in the kitchen. ] I'm gonna go by there right now and check it out.[ It's entirely possible his empty stomach is what shifts his priorities around. ]

Maybe that makes it cooler. ]
I can meet you there. Think I'm done with reality TV over here.

All right, I'll catch you there.
[ And after ending the transmission, he starts on a hunt....for the kitchen. Which doesn't take too long, actually, since he's about three doors away from it. Maybe his stomach was leading him to his destination unknown.
Whatever the reason, Dean will find his brother in the kitchen opening cabinets, taking stock of what they have with narrowed eyes and perhaps a growling stomach. ]

Every time he sees Sam on his feet -- or just sees him in general -- Dean feels... relieved. Especially after losing Charlie. ]
What's cooking? See anything worth making?

About what you'd expect. Haven't hit the fridge yet. [ He sets the box on the counter. He might just grab a bowl and call it a day at this point, Sam doesn't feel too picky about what he's going to be putting in his stomach right now. ] Think I might keep it simple right now.
[ He's suddenly reminded of Dean's 'nesting' that happened once they found the Men of Letters bunker and he turns around to face his brother fully, a not quite hidden smirk on his lips. ]
Unless you're up for cooking. Pretty sure I saw an apron around here somewhere...

Speaking of, maybe one of these days he should bring it up to his brother about how he and Cas are... There's a thing there that they aren't ignoring anymore.
That's a far cry from what Dean actually said to Cas about his feelings, but let's be real, that was a one-time event. ]
You're just jealous I might be a better cook than you. [ Pew, shots fired. He elbows Sam out of the way needlessly; the kitchen's huge, but he's just being a jerk. ]
