[The face of a young girl is shown peering down at the device on her wrist. She stares at it, confused but very calm. After a moment, a long, thin, metal claw emerges from her other hand and she cuts the thing off her wrist. There's only a little blood when she pulls communicator away and holds it up in front of her face to sniff it.]

[The girl is obviously a mutant. With abilities like Logan's. Interesting.]

Several of us have been kidnapped and are being monitored twenty-four-seven. I'm Sharon Carter; I also respond to Agent 13. If you can get a scent of the wrist-comm and track it, you're my new best friend.

[Laura frowns, shifting her gaze away from the screen.]

No scent. Sterile. Just me.

[But wait-- how did she know? Was she joking? Did she know Logan?! Kidnapped by who? Too many questions. A low growl escapes her through before she can stop it.] ... I need more answers.

SHIELD. Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate.

[SHEILD. She narrows her eyes. Meeting in person would be necessary.

Laura looks up, eyeing the cameras warily. It's easier to see now that she's in the church.]

[It's actually less before she rounds the corner and approaches the church. She nods to the girl. So far, the girl seems less inclined to give information about herself than Sharon is.]

[Laura is standing in front of her almost as soon as she sees her. Personal space doesn't seem to be a concept she's grasped entirely.]

Do you know Wolverine?

Logan? Yeah.

I'm guessing you're related to him.

[But were they related like Daken, or related like a father and daughter where neither one was a homicidal psycho?]

[Laura nods.]

I am his clone. My name is Laura. Is he here?

[She doesn't talk much. Straight to the point as fast as possible. If Logan is here, she needs to find him.]

Why hasn't SHIELD found a way out?

[Her eyebrows go up at that. Clone. A clone of Logan. Of course. Why not have a clone of Logan? But most importantly, it means Laura might be from her universe.]

He's here. Last I checked, he's been hanging out with the wolves.

And we're... limited. We have some Avengers, a couple SHIELD agents, and no tech.

Has anyone noticed he's missing there? [Where in Logan's timeline was Laura from?] What time are you from?

[That... actually doesn't surprise her much. The wolves thing. She'd done it herself on a few occasions...

The rest causes her a bit of distress. Time travel isn't unheard of, but she's never experienced it personally.]

Oh...we're all in a prison. That's how our warden keeps track of us. It's actually a pretty cozy set up compared to mos' prisons.

[She looks at the face in the communicator before holding it back far enough to show her other hand. The blood was drying, but there was no visible cut.

She slowly extends the two claws from between her knuckles.]

It is difficult to explain. There is no time.

[Her brows knit together in a more prominent expression of anger and displeasure.]

No. [Is her only response. She refuses to be trapped in another cage.]

Oh yeah. I got a map tattoo'd on my upper body like that one prison show. Watch out for this guy named Bruce, he'll make you his bitch. [ His lips twitched into a smirk. ]

[She is not amused, Clint. Also, these references to television completely go over her head. All he gets in return is a low growl.]

I do not have time for games.

[And she sniffs the air again before walking in a seemingly random direction.]

But it is a prison. We're stuck here. Only Bruce won't be turnin' you into his bitch. He's far too good for that.

[If nothing else, she and Laura are from the same year.]

People have wound up here from different times and universes. Most of the other Avengers are from that other universe.

[She nods toward the woods and starts walking.] Logan should be this way.It might help me narrow things down if you tell me more about your universe and the time you're from.
