Have there been in any forays into the invention of the postronic brain yet, or does ASIMO merely work on more traditional circuitry?

[This ASIMO sounds... well, very simplistic. If it's pre-positronics, it's hardly a robot at all by modern standards. He hadn't realised that's the sort of viewpoint they might have. Casually, he closes up his arm again; it's probably better to get that out of view, if it's potentially unsettling.]

I've never heard of time travel even being possible, except in the most tenous of theoretical senses, certainly not in any sort of practical manner. I'm afraid that theoretical temporal physics aren't something I've ever had to learn. I apologise, but I can't answer your question, Kobra.
