[She's not often confused like this, so 10 points to Bruce.] Is there any explanation as to why we're here?

[It's okay. Confusion is better than understanding what's going on, really, because as soon as that happens, it's all downhill from there.]

So far no. People are being taken from different times, different places, alternate universes... We're being monitored, apparently studied, apparently... worse than that. [See? Downhill.]
