Yea, y'know, even if he hadn't ripped the metal off my bones and out of my body back home, even if I didn't know the history between you two, the bullshit and betrayal, even if he hadn't tried to kill me or... literally thousands of other people, hell, even if I agreed in the slightest with his ideals, I still wouldn't be too willin' to trust anyone who can manipulate my body on a whim.

But yer right. He ain't my Magneto... not yet. So I'll treat him like I'd treat anyone with his powers who I didn't know - with mild dislike and distrust until I see he deserves otherwise.
