The actual plan, though, doesn't inspire the same confidence. His world is constructed by science, not magic, and though he considers himself more than adaptable - he'd have to be, considering - it's not an easy leap to make. Then again he's prone to transfer what he learns here as applicable to his own world; a mutant who can control time doesn't sound so implausible. Dilandau is just calling it something different. ]
