[Truth be told, he's nothing but confused. He's panicking quietly as his shaking hand messes with the device on his wrist, the one that just talked to him, trying to get it to give him more information, but it's not going well. Human technology isn't something he's ever bothered to figure out for a lack of needing to use it, and it doesn't help that he keeps throwing wary glances around himself every thirty seconds. Eventually though, he finds the video function and the feed flickers to life.

Hello, Cape Kore, have a rather frightened looking angel, propped up against the first building he could find, staring through the feed. Of course, to the untrained eye, he appears to be nothing more than a battered minor, but regardless, he's there. He's just been through torture for weeks on end, and unfortunately, it shows. The appearance clashes rather oddly with the bright red and white uniform he's wearing, but that's hardly a concern as he's focused on the device, trying to sort out what it's doing. He's tired and confused, not to mention in pain and possibly still bleeding a little. It's hard to tell, and he hasn't bothered to check. Nonetheless, he does finally realize the video has to be transmitting to others, and figures he ought to take advantage of it.]

...Hello? I don't...understand what this is, or what's going on...

[He trails off with a look that's a mixture of distress and frustration, and yet another glance around is taken, as though he's waiting for someone to jump out at him any time now.]

Cape Kore? That's--...That's what this place is called? But...this isn't where I was, I... I don't understand... [Then he realizes he probably looks like he's freaking out. Because he is, but he's supposed to hold his composure no matter what. A pause, and a breath is drawn in as he tries to calm himself down. It doesn't really work, but he manages to at least look a little more calm.] I don't know if there's anyone else here... This place looks deserted, but if there are people here...I think I need assistance. Even if someone could simply explain what's happened, or what this place is...

[He'll also take answers on how he got here if anyone has them, but honestly, he's still pretty unsure that there's anyone out there to hear him.]

[ Cue one resident mother hen fussing and worrying over the new arrival. Is it just her or do they seem to be getting younger? And how did such a youngster wind up in such a bad state? ]

Oh my god! Are you alright?! [ Well obviously he's not alright, Donna. One look is enough to see that. ]

Try not to panic, but we've been kidnapped - at least, we think we've been kidnapped. This is Cape Kore and we're kinda trapped here. [ People really shouldn't let Donna meet and greet the newbies. She's kinda rubbish at it. ]

Listen sweetheart, you look like you could use some patching up. Are there any buildings you can describe so I can come find you, maybe?

[The voice is startling, to say the least. Samandriel blinks at the image of a woman for several moments, and just listens as she speaks. Is he alright? Well, no, not really.]

I'm-- I'll live, but... [Wait, what was that thing about being kidnapped? That doesn't really do much to calm him down, particularly as he's just gotten out of a situation like that.] Kidnapped? By... By who? And why--?

[Deep breath. Calming breath. Panicking is only going to make the situation worse, after all. Her calling him "sweetheart" has him pause a moment, but the question that follows has him looking around yet again. She seems friendly, at least? And he'll take any help he can get here, even if tending to his wounds isn't really one of the top concerns on his mind at the moment.]

There's--yes, there's a church across the street, and I think I...hear a fountain? But patching up is unnecessary, I just...I just need some rest, somewhere safe...

We're not really sure who it is. We imagine it's mad alien scientists. [ Or, at least, that's Donna's explanation and she's sticking with it. ] Most the time we never see them. We're like their guinea pigs or sommat. I dunno.

The church and the fountain? Alright. Listen, I'm going to come find you and you can rest at my house. I'm the only one there since my housemate vanished.

[ Hey, hey, hey Samandriel? You know that demon that was drilling into your skull and all? Yep. He was her housemate. Good times. ]

The fuck happened to you, kid? Fall into a meat grinder?

Oh, my Gosh. What happened to you?

[Charlie. Calm down. Stop showing concern for strangers.

Oh. Okay. Well, there it is. Loads of concern on the young girls face.]

Is someone coming to help you? I have a first aide kit.

...brother? [Okay, he's not sure which brother, purely on the basis of seeing him over the network, but there's no doubt in his mind this is another angel.

One who looks awfully shaken up.] You're not alone; it's all right. Do you recognize me?

[Not really the answer he was expecting, and it earns a bit of an odd look from him. It's still not reassuring, but the fact that no one seems to see their apparent captors is something that puts at least part of his mind at ease for now.

Also she said "we." That means there are other people here. Another slight relief.]

Okay. Okay, thank you, I... I really appreciate the help.

[What. Well that's going to put a damper on things. BUT FOR NOW he's just going to stay where he is and try to hold onto that relieved feeling of knowing someone's going to help him out.]

[Well, that's another person talking to him. ...Albeit one rather more foul mouthed.]

No, I--...Not exactly.

[He makes a bit of a face, something frustrated and not particularly trusting.]

It's...complicated.

I'm sure it was. You might wanna get some ice on that before your face starts falling off.

[That's about all he's willing to offer up in response to questions of what happened to him, though it's not put out there impolitely. In fact, it's spoken surprisingly politely for someone who's trying to work their way down from panicking and feeling nothing but a terrible amount of paranoia and confusion at the moment.]

But, yes, I... I believe someone is on their way, though I appreciate your concern.

[While he'd have liked to offer a bit of a smile as he speaks his appreciation, all he manages is a bit of a calmer, though more tired expression. But it's a start, at least?]

[That single word has his attention snapping to the video on screen in a fraction of a second, eyes wide with shock at the realization that there's another angel here. Of course, when he realizes which one, the shock only increases, because last time he checked, this particular brother was dead.]

...Balthazar? But you're--

[A pause. Maybe he should just be glad that one of his siblings is here? It really is a relief to see a familiar face, even if the circumstances are...extremely strange.]

Yes, I--...I don't understand, but I recognize you. [But given the vessel and communicating over video, it's little doubt that Balthazar doesn't recognize him.] It's me, Samandriel. I-I wasn't expecting you, or anyone else, for that matter...

Starts...falling off?

[Have a bewildered look.]

I'm fairly certain that won't happen. ...Though I'll be sure to keep that solution in mind.

There were more and now there were less ...[ River kind of trails off then to stare at the face being broadcasted at her for a while. ]

Will it heal or is that the assistance?

What were they looking for?

Either there's people here, or you just have an overactive and deeply disturbing imagination. My money's on the latter, but hey, what do I know, I'm just a figment.

[Like Balthazar, Gabriel can't recognise Samandriel beyond knowing what he is, but that doesn't matter - he's an angel, which one he is doesn't matter. Especially given that he's in such a state as this, because it takes a hell of a lot to make an angel look like that.]

You gonna be okay there, champ? Cause y'know, if you're gonna go around bleeding all over the place, it'll ruin the aesthetic the town has going on.

I've got time but if you don't want to divulge, that's perfectly acceptable.

[She has a long story, too, and she's not sure she wants to share it. Maybe some day. Whens he's sure she won't be judged by random people.]

I'll be there as soon as I can be. [ She cuts the feed and before too long a head of flaming ginger hair appears not too far in the distance. ]

Well, you definitely look like you've been in the wars. I'd hate to see the other guy! Come on then, let's get you off the street.

[ Okay people showing up bloody and battered is just happening way too often for Ned's liking. ]

Oh my god, are you alright? Do you need a doctor? [ Maybe Bruce has seen this video and responded already, but if not, Ned is more than happy to tear around town looking for him. ]

[ Like some of the others, Chuck immediately knows the person in the feed is an angel. Although, that has less to do with the fact that he himself is an angel and more because he's a prophet. Chuck's never seen this particular angel before, but that doesn't mean much at the end of things. There are lots of angels.

But what does matter is that this angel is hurt. And whatever could hurt an angel that bad is nothing good. ]

Yeah, no, this place is called Cape Kore. We've, uh, been taken here. I don't know why or how or...

...Are you okay? Well, I mean, obviously not, but uh, is someone coming to help you?

[The comment about wars has his head tipping just slightly to one side as he watches her approach, curious, but as she continues, he gives a slight nod. Getting off the street sounds like a good idea, definitely.]

Right, uh... It's nice to meet you, though...the circumstances could be better. [Still, there's a look of relief that's made it to his face as he pushes himself to his feet with a little difficulty. There's a moment in which he sways dangerously, looking like he might hit the ground again, but he gains his balance despite the horrible weakness he's feeling and manages to take a step over toward Donna.] ...I'm Samandriel.

[Just gonna disregard that nametag on his shirt, yes.]

[You sounded pretty serious, okay. He's out of sorts and not really grasping exaggerations at the moment.]

[Especially since these familiar faces are of those he knows to be dead, but you know.]

[It's a little too fresh for him to want to talk about anything that's happened, but he does note that should he feel the need, the people around here thus far are surprisingly friendly.]

Oh... I didn't get her name yet, but it's...she's a woman with red hair? And, uh...there's an accent, as well...

[That's about all he can offer while he's waiting for her to show up, but he can probably introduce himself?]

But, ah, I'm Samandriel. ...Though some have taken to referring to me as Alfie, if you'd rather something shorter.

[It is the name on the nametag of his ridiculous uniform, after all. Even if it's not technically his name, but that's just another long story.]

[Samandriel stares back for a quiet moment, taking the time to process the somewhat strange way of speaking. The first bits seem fairly straightforward. ...Mostly. But it's that last question that has him tensing up when he realizes what she must be asking. It's not as clear as the first, but it's the only fit that comes to mind with a question like that.]

I'll heal, I just need some rest and...somewhere safe.

And--they were... [He breaks for a breath and swallows hard because it's still utterly terrifying to think back on any of it. But he also can't help but wonder how she knows when no one else has figured it out. When he continues, his voice is quieter, though still audible.] They were looking for information...

I'm sorry, I--...How did you know? It's just... Most don't assume...that.

[What is with finding all these deceased siblings here? Honestly, it's got him half wondering if it isn't just his imagination at this point. Just...don't mind as he kind of gapes at the video feed in shock for a bit.]

[No, why is he apologizing? It's not like he's trying to bleed everywhere.]

Yes, I think I should be, I just... [He trails off, not really sure. Healing hasn't even been attempted yet, considering he's finding himself weak to the point that standing is hard. And the fact that he's seeing dead family members it just throwing him further off.] How are you here? I thought you were-- I thought Lucifer--

...I don't understand what's happening.

[He's not shocked by Samandriel's surprise. He was playing dead for quite a while, after tall. He shakes his head dismissively, though, more worried about the other angel just now.]

I'm not sure I have much of an explanation. We seem to be trapped here. But stay where you are for the moment, I'll come to you.
