Ever since she so vehemently gave up her doctorly role and refused to see how that was maybe the least mature way to handle the situation, Bruce kind of gave up too. He wasn't going to strongarm her into being a doctor; the way he saw it was she could come back to the clinic when she wanted, and he wouldn't turn her away. ]
