[ A high pitched sound crosses over the video feed before it shows the Doctor. He is holding the phone in one hand, and flicks his sonic screwdriver in the other. He looks over it once before turning his attention to the recording. ]

Yeah, sorry if that hurt any of your ears. Had to do a basic scan of the device. You know, the usual--checking for hidden feeds and the like. After all! You can't trust something given to you by your kidnappers. Even if they do leave a rather lovely welcoming message. I would have preferred someone to talk to in person, mind you, but at least you bothered to leave a message at all. I suppose I should congratulate you more, but I'm not in the mood for pleasantries.

[ Which makes him bring the phone closer. ] Which, brings me to my point: Kidnapping is wrong in any universe or spectrum of life. Especially when you can find a way to snap someone from a shielded time machine. Sorry, yes, I did say time machine. Obviously if you brought me here you know what I am, but maybe you don't know exactly who I am.

I'm the Doctor, and, if you want my help at all? Then you had best start answering my questions. There was something very important going on back home that you lot have taken me from. So, this had better be one hell of an emergency! Where am I? What exactly is "Cape Kore"? And where did you put my TARDIS?

You've got about--[ he checks the watch on his wrist, ]--I'd say three minutes to start answering my questions before I start to make a scene. Trust me. You don't want me to make a scene.

It was forcibly. People used to get stuck in a town and then something made them come here. I don't know what but they came through some caves, and they're shut off now.

A town. Alright then, towns are fun. Especially the western sort of towns. Tall hats and hoop skirts and cowboys! I love a good cowboy, me. Not so much those boots they wear. They got itchy after awhile.

[ The Doctor ponders a moment, tossing the sonic between his hands. ] A town then we end up here. Might be that this is still the town! Just a different part. Instead of letting us wander about we're centralized into one building that is infinite and bigger on the inside. Not sure I like the idea of TARDIS technology replicating in a big ol' building.

What do we know about the building besides the caved in hallways?

I'd ask the public that one. I haven't gotten that much from them. Apparently there's a lot you can forget.

[ Be made to forget, rather ]

You should look for the scientists.

[ He shakes his head. ]

There's scientists here? Where?

In a lab? They used to be all over the town. No one's seen them since.

Apparently so. Not that I remember it, but everyone else says I was. Different face though... had sticky-up hair, converses? Pinstripe suit?

[ This is the Doctor trying to see if Emma has any recognition of that face. ]

So we've got abandoned labs and possible scientists in the building that no one has seen. Maybe that monster of Garrett's got to them.

He must have left before I got here.

[ Although changing faces? Him being here but as someone else? ]

Probably--yes--maybe. Good even. Makes things a bit easier.

[ That's basically it. ]

About the face changing bit? Happens a lot with me. My people do it. It's a thing. A cool thing! Still not ginger though.
