We've managed to concoct a bit of peace here. I will do what I can to continue it. But all of you must do your parts as well.

I'll tolerate no shenanigans from anyone over Michael.

[He appreciates it, though. If he were less freaked out right now he'd probably be back to protesting that Raphael shouldn't be stuck taking care of them - as it is, he can't. It isn't fair on Raphael, really, but he's barely keeping it together enough to snark, let alone take responsibility. If Raphael's prepared to do step up, Gabriel's not going to argue... not yet, anyway.]

So... we're just not gonna mention it, and hope he doesn't get too mad when he finds out we conveniently forgot to say anything? Don't get me wrong, I'm in no hurry to tell him myself, but he isn't gonna be happy about not having been informed.

It might not have been much in the way of help as far as they're concerned, but you know how Michael would take it.

I may have implied we didn't know how they found out since we didn't witness it but that Crowley helped them get Death's ring.

[The relief is wearing off pretty damn quickly. He's made all of his choices, especially those last few, accepting that they'd have consequences. He's prepared to face all of them, including Michael being furious, no matter how scared he is - what he's not prepared for is Raphael sticking his neck out too. He's pretty sure Michael will be even angrier at Raphael for betraying him like that - he expects it from Gabriel, after all, so it's hardly abusing his trust. Even if he isn't, even if he doesn't punish Raphael, he'll still be angry, distrustful, disappointed... Gabriel doesn't like to think about the effect that could have on Raphael. He especially doesn't like to think about Raphael risking it for his sake.]

Don't do anything rash, Raph.

I said I didn't have all the details, but that Death was the last ring.
