Oh, no, Mother didn't allow it. And we're sort of, you know, a bit out of the way. The middle of nowhere. I'm not even sure there's any schools nearby in the first place.

This place is more powerful than you can imagine. Time travel is comparatively easy.

W-Well, what's the whole point of it, then? Taking people-- even kids!-- from where they're supposed to be, locking them up like this, separating them from loved ones-- what's the whole point?

No one loathes them harming children more than I. And while they being here makes this place feel less strange, I am not happy about it.

As for what they are doing? Studying us.

What's so interesting about us?

Depends on who you are talking about. I have been pleasantly surprised, with how everyone has cooperated and gotten along. It's not been my experience.

I don't think getting along is all that interesting, scientifically.

Oh but it is. So many of you can't get along at all. Much less with strangers.
