[ Hey, Bobby. It's everybody's favourite demon! The one who possessed Sam and played a teeny tiny part in Jo and Ellen's death. ]

Course, these days I'm all about Team Winchester.
[ Oh Bobby, you've missed so much! ]

[ Not counting all the times she's tried to kill them. Because be honest, who hasn't tried to kill the Winchesters at least once? ]
Me and the Winchesters... Practically family.

So are you gonna give me the story, or should I find out for myself?

No one filled you in on the details? Fine. I'll bite. This place is Cape Kore. This particular spot is the Science Centre - we used to be up near the sea, beautiful view - never did like the salt water though.
It's some kind of pocket universe or something. I dunno. But we get pulled from all different kinds of worlds. And from all different points in time within those worlds.
Speaking of - sorry your noodle got scrambled. Real shame, that.

Well. Balls to you, too, and welcome to the Science Center.

No, some of us seem to have arrived posthumously, but not all. I'm not dead yet, for example. I'm aware it's inevitable.
Since when did you die, anyway?

So if this isn't the afterlife - where the hell are we?

It's called the Science Center at Cape Kore. It's a very large building, and constantly changing so it's hard even for angels to know where we are and how to get elsewhere. We think it's some sort of experiment, but it's hard to know for sure since the scientists have vanished.

Science center? So what, we're all put in here as some kinda lab experiment but the fellas in the white coats what, left town?

Yes, that's about the size of it. I've been prodding at the equipment. Some of it is inexplicable. Tell you what, since you haven't threatened me yet, I'll bring you a drink and we can compare notes.

[Meja smiles, armor and cloak glamoured to look like a pretty standard blue peacoat and slacks. She has a faint Norwegian accent. Fainter and fainter, the older she gets.]
Are you all right? In a relative sense, I suppose.

[Meja's expression is sympathetic. She remembers her own jarring arrival.]
I'm afraid to say that, on some level, this place never makes much sense.
After the last few years? I'm gettin used to places not making sense.
Don't worry. This isn't any afterlife I'm familiar with. When you leave here, you'll go back to... wherever that would be.
[Meja knows about how it works, now. You either stick or around, or you're sent away. Back home. And then sometimes you're unlucky enough to come back.]
In the meantime, the corridors change, and it's very difficult to find a door outside.

[One ear flicks back and forth curiously.]
Where were you supposed to be heading, pops?
