[It hadn't taken her long to figure out the phone, but even if she knew how to use it she was determined to wait. Maybe she would run into someone in person and get better answers about where she was.
She was damn sure it wasn't where she was supposed to be.
Her attempt to leave the room was good until the door was about to close behind her and a red blob appeared out of nowhere. A quick slap didn't deter it and she quickly retreated back behind the door for a temporary reprieve.
Time for answers.]
Where am I? 'Cause this wasn't where I was before that dick interfered so I don't know why I'm here. [She has places to be. Kind of. The phone moves back a little and it's obvious that Jo is leaning against a door that has something banging against the other side.]
And what's with the red blubber? [Sooner or later it's going to get underneath the door, isn't it?]

That's not as reassuring as you think it is. [But she opens the bottle and sniffs it before taking a sip.]
...Hey, Dean? [If it helps any, he doesn't have to do anything but confirm that he's betraying her. Meg already spilled the beans.]
no subject
Yeah?
no subject
Meg talked to me. She said you're friends now? [Jo asks it as a question, hoping, nearly praying that Dean will say it's a lie.]
no subject
That's right.
no subject
Why?
no subject
We were on the same side at the end. She took care of Cas; she saved me and Sam.
[ And if people can't redeem themselves then why do people even still talk to him? Or Sam? Or Cas? Dean tortured people in Hell right along with Alistair. His trip to Purgatory only reminded him that allies are allies, and it's worse being on your own. ]
You've been dead for four years, Jo.
no subject
That doesn't mean she's good. [Not as she sees it. She's not going to accept Meg.
You don't just forgive the person who caused your death.]
no subject
I know, Jo. Demons lie. But... Meg's alright now. It's taken me a long time to believe that; it wasn't some kind of overnight thing.
All I'm asking is you don't try to go after her. I'll ask the same thing from her, too.

She called my mom a bitch. [Doesn't she get to punch Meg once for that and one more time for killing her?]
no subject
[ And Dean came and let Meg out and thought he'd ruined his relationship with Ellen forever because of it. ]

Let's just let that be the end of it, okay?
no subject
[In fact, if Dean could just never mention her again that would be great.]
no subject
[ He gives her a tight smile that doesn't reach his eyes and then takes another drink. ]

What's the deal with this place?
