[ Distressed blonde alert. She's clearly trying to keep it under control, but there's an anxious waver in her voice. ]
Hey! Uh.
So, I was trying to make myself a sandwich because, um, girl's gotta eat if she's gonna be trapped in a science center, you know? [ She clears her throat. ] Just so you know, stay away from the roast beef. (At least I think it's roast beef?)
If anyone can help me out, I've got kind of a skin problem. Don't think this is normal human allergies. Believe me, I was tested when I was little and this never came up.

[Meja has very little experience with allergies. She saw someone break out who had a peanut allergy, once. But she herself had no allergies as a human, and neither did any of her family. A combination of good genetics and magic, she suspects.
Still, in post-nuclear-apocalypse Norway, there had been worse things to worry about.]

[ Definitely not like her peanut allergy reactions in the past. ] No swelling of the throat, shortness of breath or anything like that. Just... you know. Skin stuff?
[ Another nervous laugh. ]

[Sorry, Felicity. That loses her completely. Though she's halfway acquainted with the books, it's been hundreds of years since she's heard them mentioned.]
If you don't find anyone who can help on a more practical basis, I can heal any skin that's damaged.
no subject
[ She blinks. ] You can do any kind of healing for skin? Do you mind if I find you right now?

[It'll be a warm day on Niflheimr when Meja isn't willing to help someone, even a newcomer she doesn't know all that well.]
no subject
Okay, you know what? I'm gonna go now. Thanks. Thank you so much.
[ Thusly ends a very flustered call from Felicity, who is currently tearing down the hallway trying to hide her face with her hair, keeping a hand by her eyes. ]

This will work better in natural sunlight, and with a place for Felicity to sit down.
Meja, thankfully, has her armor glamoured to look like casual clothes, and so she isn't an enormous oddity even in the Center. Not by appearance, at least.]
Hei hei! In here.

She's grateful to see Meja, breathing a sigh of relief. The blue's spread up her neck onto her cheeks, from her fingertips up her arms, disappearing under her clothes and her hair line. ]
H-hi. Hello.

Please, come in. Does it hurt?
[If it does, she'll be using more energy at once to try and dull that down as she... attempts to purge or heal whatever reaction is going on.]

You want to swing by my new lab? It's next to the old one. There's not much flubber here. I could take a look?
no subject
You can call me Violet Beauregard, I guess. I can be there in a little bit.
no subject
You're turning violet, Violet? [ The joke is weak too, though. ]
Okay, I'll be here. Do you have any other symptoms aside from... blue?
no subject
No other symptoms! I'll be there in, like, a minute. Trying not to be seen by anyone.
[ She waves awkwardly before ending the call. ]

He's had to make a makeshift treatment area out of the corner of his new lab, the one with no blobs in every other drawer, but he tries to make it look presentable. ]

Felicity enters with her arms folded, shoulders hunched, pulled up to her ears. Bashfully, she tucks some hair behind her ear and shrugs at him in greeting, very much turning blue. ]

What's going on?
no subject
Yeah, don't eat the roast beef? I knew weird things happened here, but. Ugh. Yeah, I'm kind of turning... blue. That's it, though.
no subject
Like actually blue? Did it start when you started eating?
no subject
Well, I got halfway through the sandwich when I finally noticed that the tips of my fingers started changing colors and then I noticed that it was moving up my arms and towards my face...
no subject
Maybe it was something you touched earlier.
no subject
It's weird. I don't know what else I could have touched besides this food. No one really warned me about what not to touch or eat...
