[ Oh beloved Science Center, up to all your old tricks! Seriously, this place could reduce a guy to drink. As soon as they can find one!

Sam's back hurts. Waking up in a tunnel? Seriously? He only went to bed a few hours ago. At least he doesn't feel quite as out of it as he did when he first arrived.

Still, Sam's hunter instincts kick in and he's armed, alert and on his guard. ]

Is everyone okay? Dean?! Cas? Jo? Meg? Meja? Anyone injured?

[Meja has the phone propped up against a thick tome, a stack of them visible as she pores over another. There are a lot of books in the little library she's managed to stumble across, and she keeps getting interrupted by things that want to eat her alive.]

Hei hei, Sam. I'm fine. What about you?

[ Aw man. Meja. Are you researching without him? How can they be research nerds together if she's researching without him? Rude.

But he's glad she's okay. ]

Yeah. I'm good. Breathing. Conscious. Bit confused. Pretty much normal, I think.

[She chuckles quietly.]

I suppose that's as normal as it gets, around here. I'm glad to hear you're still breathing. [Don't worry, Sam, Meja only pokes fun at people she likes.] No injuries?

No injuries yet, but it's still pretty early. I'm not ruling out the possibility.

[Meja levels a mock-stern look.]

There's no reason to aim low. Have you found many rooms yet? Some of them have weapons.

Not yet. Just endless hallways. Just hoping my brother hasn't been kidnapped by the goblin king...

[She pauses.

Sorry, Sam. Meja doesn't get that reference.]

Is there a reason a goblin king would want to kidnap him?

[ Sam laughs. Oh right. Meja isn't from his world. ]

Sorry. It's a movie back home.

Oh! All right, then.

[Meja grins a little.]

Have you heard from your brother? The radio's been sort of silent. I think people are mostly trying to get by, at the moment.

Not yet. Been trying to get hold of him since I woke up. I'm hoping he's okay.

He's probably all right.

[Something about Dean just seems... resilient, not that she's talked to him much. But enough.]

You and your brother have seen your fair share of action, I think. I'm more worried about the people here who haven't.

[ The guy bounces back from everything - including death. ]

I'll do my best to look out for those less used to fighting their way outta trouble.

[Death is a revolving door. She knows that one well enough.]

[Or trying, given that this place is a labyrinth.]
