001 | Anna Miton | [Audio only]

[ There's a scuffling, like someone's just tried to get up on their feet and failed, and then a loud, panicked voice rings out loudly. ]

What's going on, what is this?

[ More muffled sounds, then a loud tap against the communicator. ]

Why am I on a beach?!

In person, if that's okay? If not let me know, I'll redo this :)

[There's no reply over the network, but within the space of a minute, he appears nearby, an ice cream in each hand - chocolate, as if it could be otherwise - and strolls over.]

Hi.

[There are more eloquent things to say, and wittier, but forgive him. He's used to you being dead.]
hung_garian: (And I'm Marie-Joseph Lafayette)

:)

[He affects shock, pulling the ice cream out of her reach.]

Who do you think I am, huh? One's for me and one's for myself.

[The corner of his mouth curls up into something that could be a smirk.]

Lucky for you, myself is on a diet, so I suppose you can have his.

[He holds both out for her to choose from - even without the effects of Bible camp, trust isn't a luxury rebel angels can afford too easily. He gets that.]
hung_garian: (Oh him? nah. he's dead.)

[He shrugs, and bites into the ice cream with no reservations. There is a wince, but that's just the brainfreeze. He recovers after a few seconds and decides to take a page out of her book. Licking ice cream does work better, even if archangels don't have to let brainfreeze affect them.]

There's a couple theories going round. First is some kind of afterlife, which would make sense except half the people here don't remember dying, the other one's just that some weird, potentially evil and ridiculously powerful force dumped our asses here. No one knows why. Maybe just for kicks.

[The first suggestion's mostly a bit of a nudge. There's not really a polite or sensitive way of asking 'so are you dead yet or what'.]

Well, I've given us ice cream.

[It answers his question, though. Pre-death, but not pre-Heaven. Great. Being who he is, he decides to avoid that area of discussion as far as possible. He fakes being too distracted by his food to notice. It's not convincing, but she probably knows him well enough to know why it is.]

Speaking of Norse gods, if people tell you Loki's been fucking shit up? It completely wasn't my fault this time. Two Lokis - it's less fun than it sounds, trust me. The other one makes Jack Torrance look like a sane and reasonable individual.

Good choice. I'm the fun one.

[It's not entirely clear which of those statement's that's in response to. Both, probably.]

It's best you stay away from him. Not sure what kind of juice he's got, but seems like it's enough to do some damage.

[A brief pause, the kind you get when you want to say something but aren't quite sure how to put it, and then:]

You got somewhere to stay picked out?
hung_garian: (They said that about Napoleon too.)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2012-11-30 05:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, there's wolves and crazies wandering around and, y'know, this place gets kinda boring at night just sitting on park benches and what have you, so having somewhere to actually go's kinda nice.

[Which is not what she meant by why, obviously, but asking without sounding co-dependent is his priority here. Of course, just flat-out asking probably wouldn't sound clingy to anyone other than him, whereas asking this way just sounds weird, but Gabriel's not too good at making these things easy for himself.]

And as it turns out, whoever used to live in this place? Apparently not big on apartment blocks, and there aren't that many houses here anyway, so since I've got a couple rooms free, you might as well take one. It'd save you from the terrible fate of moving in with the Winchesters. Plus it'd save some poor schmuck later on from the terrible fate of moving in with me. You'd probably get brownie points for it.

Plenty of space, sweetheart, even with Balthazar's stuffed toy collection cluttering up the place.

[Lies and slander, naturally, but what else does one expect from Gabriel? He's allergic to being serious.]
hung_garian: ('Devious' ain't the half of it)

Second star to the right and straight on till morning.

[He gives her a sly little grin.]

Nowhere special, just one of the houses the previous residents left empty. It'll do, though. You wanna head on over, if you're done admiring the view?
hung_garian: (Who died and made you queen?)

Want to fade to black sometime soon?

[personal profile] hung_garian 2012-12-02 02:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, finally people around my height.

[She's shorter though, at least. He likes it - finally a sibling he's taller than.]

You'll like it. Couple of guys with taste like ours, you can't go wrong.

[He heads off, walking rather than flying. It's not as if he's in a rush.]
hung_garian: (I breed with the mouth of a what now?)

:)

Excuse you, our disco dungeon is fantastic.
