I have a favour to ask.

[Wallie gives the camera a slightly embarrassed smile.]

So I don't know who lived in this house before I did, but they weren't anywhere near my size. If anyone's got any cast-off clothes in their houses that might fit a really big guy, I'd appreciate it. If it gets much colder than it is, I'm going to be pretty miserable without at least a shirt I can button up.

[He considers.]

Pants might not be a bad idea, either.

[Yeah, right. She's only going to find him a shirt if his chest is hopeless and should be hidden away.]

[Wallie stares at her evenly for a moment before sighing and deciding to play along. Wouldn't hurt. He flashes the camera down over his chest and then back to his face, his expression still blank. He feels... strangely used.]

[Her lips spread into a slow, impish smile.]

Mm. Darn. I don't think I have any shirts big enough. Sorry.

[He's shocked. Really, he's utterly shocked.]

Oh, I don't know if you saw my posting, but I happen to be a tailor—I imagine I'd be able to work something out for you, if you can't find anything ready-made that fits properly.

That would be really helpful, actually. Even if I have to wear something ridiculous like... oh, a jacket made of curtains, it's better than nothing.

Well, you will be the most stylish gentleman wearing a jacket made of curtains, if it comes to that, though I should hope it won't. I should be able to manage something with the clothing that was left here, if anything. I don't suppose you know your measurements?

[He has no idea. He's not even entirely sure of how tall he is, besides just plain tall.]

I don't. Do you have a measuring tape?

[He's... not going to be able to read a measuring tape. How long is it going to take to teach himself how to read again? In the meantime, he can, however, count the markings.]

Ah, I don't, but I think I can rummage a long enough piece of string to mark measurements on. You don't have to worry about doing it yourself.
