[After several moments of prodding the watch, hoping to somehow extract some additional data from it, Hale was at a loss. While he was more than familiar with kidnappings, he had never experienced one from this perspective. The lack of subtlety certainly screamed dark fae but there was something distinctly... human about the M.O.

From what you're saying, it sounds like there's quite a number of kidnapped people here. If nobody's even seen the kidnappers, then what's stopping them from just... walking out of here?

One of our men was sent out to the woods to do reconnaissance and ended up facing some... hostiles, I believe. We haven't built a boat yet to try the sea, but I think that might be our best bet. And recently a few of us have disappeared and we're trying to get them back.

Nah. I mean, I've been kidnapped a couple times, but that was back home because my dad tended to kidnap other people.
