[ She's used this thing enough now that she knows how it works quite easily, but she's never actually addressed the network as a whole, and it feels a little strange. After a few seconds of static where she tries to remember just what it was she had planned to say, she starts to speak. ]

Well, uh- Hello everyone? [ ...That is a pretty good place to start, yes. ]

So I'm sure everyone's noticed that it's starting to snow, and um. I can't be the only one who feels a little festive, right?

[ This is getting ridiculous now, obvious statements are obvious. Anna pauses briefly and shakes her head, huffing before continuing. ]

Anyway, I guess the point of this is because I know some of us have friends and family from home, but there are people here who are alone too, and I thought it might be nice if we all do something for each other while we're stuck in this place.

[ That? That is definitely rambling. She starts to speed up her words slightly, and while they're still clearly audible it's obvious she's somewhat regretting this spur of the moment decision. No one else is going to be interested, they don't even know what time of year it is, everyone has enough things to worry about.

She pushes on anyway, though. ]

Look, we used to do this thing at home a while back. Secret Santa? You just get given a name out of a hat and get them some kind of present, that's all it is, but you get to reveal at the end and I guess I just there might be people who are up for it. No one has to do it, obviously, but well. If anyone's interested just let me know, okay?

[ She coughs awkwardly, and there's another small static-filled pause before she adds: ]

Well, that's it. Bye. [ And then the feed cuts out. ]

[ She grins, evidently satisfied. It's always amusing to wind him up a little, after all. ]

Oh, I don't know. The edgy look? I think you suit clean cut better.

Don't you trust your most favourite big brother in the world? My idea of fun is the best. My idea of fun is so awesome that I had to keep avoiding Dr Johnson while he was writing his dictionary, because he wanted me to pose for a portrait he could put in as the definition of fun.

My idea of fun doesn't involve insects and arachnids being placed in peoples beds. Does that fit in with your definition of fun?

Well no one's denying that. Maybe I'll see if I can find you one.

It's not a fundamental part. I can leave out the creepy crawlies if you're a scaredy cat. [Pause.] Or if you just don't want 'em in your bed. Y'know, whatever.

[He doesn't want to be beaten up :(]

I don't know if that's a good idea. Maybe you should check first and make sure none of the ladies here wanted to keep their ovaries intact. I've been known to cause combustions.

I'm not afraid of bugs. [ A little. It's a human thing, okay? ] I just don't think it's fun to scare other people. You know I almost prefer Balthazar's idea of fun to yours.

[ That's a joke, Gabriel, don't get any ideas. There's still no frown though, despite her disapproving tone she's still smiling. ]

Oh, I think the ladies of the town will survive, don't you worry. But I'd best not risk it, huh.

From what I've heard, Balthazar's idea of fun is almost as good as mine. I can settle for that.

[He waggles his eyebrows. It's not flirting if they're related, right? ...right?]

Better safe than sorry, sweetheart. Especially when it comes to tux-related fatalities.

I don't know why I ever agreed to stay in that place with the two of you.

[ her long suffering sigh, as drawn out and pained as it is, is somewhat ruined by the failed attempt at hiding a smirk, and the quick wink that follows after it. Clearly she's been spending way too much time around Tony and Balthazar, they're terrible influences. ]

I always err on the side of caution when it comes to formalwear.

Because we're fantastic, obviously. Couldn't wish to find a lovelier pair of roommates.

[There's something a little rueful in that smile, but frankly he doesn't care too much that he and Balthazar aren't exactly the ideal neighbours.]

Atta girl. You're saving lives. Be proud.

Maybe that's what I should ask Santa for.

[ She's teasing, obviously, and honestly she appreciates having them two of all their brothers and sisters be the ones here.

...Castiel is more complicated than that, but she's choosing to ignore that little fact for now. ]

Just living up to the job description.

Oh, you can't rely on that guy. I've been asking for a pony every Christmas for the past three hundred years, and do I get one? Do I hell. And a pony has to be easier to get hold of than roommates classier than me and Balthy.
