[ Clint's still in bed after being...attacked by the crazy guy with a gun and choked out by a certain chick's thighs. He didn't know what was more difficult right at the moment, focusing on the world around him or trying to figure out where he was. ]
Phil? [ He stared a bit on the bracelet on his wrist, blinking. ] Nat? Someone wanna explain to me what the hell is goin' on here or are we just waitin' until I figure it out myself. [ He pressed his face against the pillow with a low groan. ] Goddammit.
Phil? [ He stared a bit on the bracelet on his wrist, blinking. ] Nat? Someone wanna explain to me what the hell is goin' on here or are we just waitin' until I figure it out myself. [ He pressed his face against the pillow with a low groan. ] Goddammit.

Good. I don't trust anyone other than you right now. Earlier, Natasha shot at me and acted like she had no clue who I was, then she acted like it had never happened less than an hour later.
I'll work with them, but I'm not giving them anything that I don't think they should have.

Maybe whatever got us here is messin' with her mind a little? [ Which wasn't a good thought. ]
How about the others? Bruce is here...anyone else we might know? And not acting like their bipolar with a case of amnesia?
no subject
[He sighs. God, whatever is wrong with Nat is scaring him.]
Do you think Loki could have gotten to her. She didn't have any of the symptoms you did, but she was definitely off when it happened and then she was fine after that.
no subject
I doubt Rogers would shoot you, sir. Even then you might still ask for his autograph after. [ He smirks a bit in the other man's direction. Trying for a lighter mode of conversation...possibly failing. ]
You would be able to tell, boss. Loki's hold was the same for everyone under it...like we were his worker drones. [ Clint's smirk faded. He remembered letting loose an arrow on the helicarrier and knowing quite well the outcome of it all. ]

And maybe something else is controlling Nat. Maybe whatever brought us here. [He's almost sorry to ruin Clint's attempt at Levity.]
Clint... if I start acting weird and you think I might hurt either of you, you shoot me. That's an order.
no subject
[ That's just the thought Clint wants in his mind right now. The archer sits there for a moment before pushing him back to his feet, swaying a bit as he stood. The head rush wasn't what he needed right now. ]
Shut the hell up, sir. You know good 'n well I don't listen to stupid ass orders like that.
no subject
I didn't say to make it lethal. Jesus, Clint, I just don't want you or Nat getting hurt because of me.
[He'd feel terrible. He'd blame himself, the same way he knows Clint would if he knew that Phil had apparently died.]
no subject
Well...that's where my mind went too. [ The room spun again as he pressed his fingers between his eyes, taking in a deep breath. ] I couldn't handle it if you died, boss. 'd be a wreck. Weeping...probably standing by your grave like one of those losers who can't move on. [ He wouldn't be able too. But as far as anyone else was concerned if they were listening to the conversation...he was just being melodramatic. ] I'll just hit you aside the head with my bow...no long-lasting injuries there, Phil.
[ Clint would blame himself if he knew. ]
no subject
[Phil can't really picture not having Clint or Natasha. He sends them into dangerous situations all the time, but he knows that they will always come back. He has to have faith in them to.]
For now, just rest up so we can find a way out of here and keep an eye on Nat for any strange behavior.
no subject
[ Clint scowls a bit at that, shaking his head. ]
We could get a better look at the layout of this place...faster if 'm out there.
no subject
[He sighs.] You'll be out there when I know you can stand on your own two feet. Until then, I want you resting so you're in top shape faster.
no subject
[ He smirks. ] Sir, yes, sir. [ Which was a lie. ]
no subject
[He knows Clint is lying, but maybe he'll at least feel bad about lying.]
no subject
[ He laughs a bit, moving to lay back down on the bed and dropping his hands over his face. He did feel bad for lying. ] It's not too bad here, right sir?
no subject
It's not too bad, no. There's food and a cute girl who somehow wears more eyeliner than my niece followed us home. She has a crossbow. You'll like her.
no subject
Crossbows are lazy. But...new friends are always a plus right? Everyone jus' as clueless as we are?
no subject
[He leans back against the headboard, poking Clint's bicep.] And it's not lazy when your arm is literally three times bigger than hers.
no subject
[ Clint peeks out from under one of his hands, smiling up at Phil. ] They didn't start out this big. Years of trainin'...not really that difficult.
no subject
How's the head?
no subject
...it'll be fine when the room stops spinnin' and there ain't two of you, boss.
no subject
[He moves his hand to Clint's chin.] Look at me.
no subject
[ Clint moves his hands, eyes unfocused as he tilts his head up towards Phil. ] 'm fine, boss.
no subject
But you'll be fine with some rest. I didn't even hit you that hard.
no subject
He enjoyed it wholly. ]
My head begs to differ, boss. [ He chuckles as he rolled over his side, facing towards Phil as he relaxed against the bed. ]
