 [Logan looks a little rougher around the edges than usual and it's pretty obvious he hasn't gotten much sleep lately.]

Hope no one waited up for me at that party. I was busy. 'Course I was s'posed to give something to you, Carter, I'm just full of disappointments lately, 'specially for you. Maybe I'll be able to make it up to you. [He seems pretty distracted, rambling a bit as he thinks about what he needs to actually say.]

I got a real important question for everyone. Has anyone seen a girl, black hair, lil' shorter than me, kinda talks like a robot- not like a digital voice thing, just all proper and, um, mechanical. Claws come out of her hands and feet if that helps any. Goes by Laura. She's missing and I've run into some issues, but I gotta find her.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sharon... [He gives her a deadpan 'you should know better look'.] She's my clone. Of course she could be a threat to others.

[She gives him a look of her own. What she wants to know is if they'll have to put Laura down. Sharon doesn't want to. But if she has to in order to protect everyone, she will. And does Logan want the final blow, or would he want Sharon to do it?]

Do your healing factor and claws still work?

[He doesn't like that look, not at all, in fact it takes a bit of willpower to swallow down the protective growl stuck in his throat. If Sharon's plan, if Laura has gone feral, is to put her down, then Sharon will have to be doing it over Logan's dead body.]

[Wow. That look says it all. No killing Laura, then. She'll have to find another way.]

So I know that you aren't defenseless. [She frowns and runs her hands over her face as she thinks.] If she lost a sense or two, would she hide or something until she had it back?

[His expression lightens slightly when Sharon seems to shift gears.] Please, Agent, even without healing I ain't defenseless. And my claws ain't a power, Shar, even if I lost everything, they're just part of my skeleton, they ain't going away. Hurts a lot more, but they stick around.

I thought about that... what might make her run off, but even if she were blind, I think she knows enough to stay put. Staying in the house would offer more defense than running off and she'd know that. Her losing it, or being taken are really the only two guesses I've got. ...dunno which one would be worse.

People who have been taken have managed to find their way back, Logan.

Either way, we'll find her. Or die trying.

[And she suspects they both know which one is more likely. Her lips twist wryly as she watches him on the feed.]

At least it would stick for one of us.
