Watching Pony and the Doctor taking our Girl far away from the city. A burning sensation in my chest. [ He sounds absent. Kind of quiet. ] I was going to miss the three of you.

Jet? [ His voice almost cracks. ] Is that... is that what happened after I went down?

Yeah. [ He's quiet, and then: ] Would you mind turning on the video?

[ It comes on and Kobra looks shocked. ]

Kid. [ He's on, and he looks worried. ] Give me a location. I can be there before the sands shift.

Inside the church, but there ain't no sands outside of the beach here.

[ He smiles a little. ]

Announce yourself so I don't attack you.

[ He will, and he does! He makes it to the church and stops outside. Here, have this whistle, that should be familiar, right? ]

[ Kobra pops up, gripping a knife loosely. ]

Jet! You're not a clone, right?

Of course I'm not. [ He raises one eyebrow. ] That's a moot question anyway, because if I were a clone, I wouldn't tell you so, would I. Are you alright? Why are you... here?

[goodluckkobra]

Someone's watching.

[ He looks at one of the cameras in the room. ]

Someone's watching everything. Nowhere's safe, but at least this place is heavy. I'm ready for anything.

[retrograding]

[ Oh, yeah, see. That camera's not nice, and Jet immediately shifts so that his face is not as visible. It's just habit. ] Definitely heavy. Permission to approach, captain?

[ He stands up straight, a tiny grin peaking out from under his stiff demeanor. ]

Permission granted!

[ Jet finally smiles a little, ducking his head, and crosses the room to bear hug Kobra. He saw Kobra die! Forgive him if he's a little choked. He's really trying not to be. His dignity. >:| ]

[ Yes! Jet hugs are the best hugs! Kobra keeps his knife in his hand, though, just in case. ]

Fuck, we missed you. Ghoul's a fucking nightmare without you there to tell him not to break my shit and Party hates my... friends.

[retrograding]

[ Jet snorts. ] Funny, Ghoul has been telling me the same thing about you and Party. Living nightmares, all of you.

Your... friends?

[goodluckkobra]

[ He rolls his eyes. Fuckin' Ghoul. He doesn't even know what he's talking about. Kobra is a God damn saint. ]

I have friends. They're cool. You'll like 'em. One of them's a robot.

[retrograding]

A robot? [ :O!!!! Jet is intrigued. ] Better or worse than our androids?

So much better. He's amazing, Jet. You'd like him. He reminds me of you sometimes.

[retrograding]

Are you calling me a robot? [ He's kidding, and also ruffling your hair, Kobra. ]

Only on the outside. [ He laughs and leans against Jet. This is the problem with inviting Kobra to touch you. He'll just climb all over anyone who will let him. ] I know you got a heart of solid gold in there. Though Dan kinda does, too, so maybe you really are a robot.

[retrograding]

[ Jet doesn't mind. He's a touchy person by nature, and he likes to keep his boys close, so Kobra leaning against him is not a problem in the least. ]

Beep boop beep. [ Jet says in a monotone, pushing Kobra's face once. ] I can be as calm as one, anyway. I'm just glad you are all okay. Would you come out of here, or should I stay with you?

[goodluckkobra]

[ Kobra shakes his head. ] I'll come for now.

[ He squeezes Jet. ] Missed you and your hair. We all did.
