Right. Newbie. Blond, tall, smirky, goes by Lucifer? Don't fucking piss him off, 'kay? Flat-out keep your distance if at all possible. Especially if you're human. You won't just be putting your ass on the line, it'll be everyone's too. He won't massacre you all if you don't cross him, and trust me, he'd like to. It's an offer you won't get twice, and if I have to personally take out anyone who tries anything on with him, I will. Just a heads up, gang.

[He's not sure that he isn't blowing his cover in doing this, but right now that's a secondary concern. Primary concern is whether people will actually listen to him, especially given who he is. He's hoping so - this arrangement is fragile enough that one impulsive hero type could ruin it, and there's altogether too many of those in this place.]

I wouldn't be impressed either. Should've taken him up on it, so long's he doesn't want you to wipe out Switzerland in thanks or something. Maybe some other country that doesn't make chocolate.

Well, he is family. Slightly psychotic family, but I'd like to think it counts for something. I'm not saying he wouldn't want anything in return, but you need to be gotten out of there.

[And if Lucifer's willing to do it, then that's great, because Gabriel hasn't got the balls to mess with Heaven.]

Depends on what he'd want, of course, but whatever awful thing he'd want you to do, ten bucks says he could just do it himself. It's worth at least listening to what he has to say.

Don't know how he'd feel about take backs, he seemed pretty offended. I just- panicked, I guess. What with him even being here, and you know what he's like. Makes it sound so attractive.

What with the whole 'there's something I want' spiel, I erred on the side of caution. It's not the most recommended thing to be in debt to the devil.

You're probably right. I mean, that whole destroying the world thing's kinda shady.

[He almost looks disappointed. He almost is. It's silly, given all that's happened, but he wants Lucifer to be, well, if not on their side, then at least not an enemy. It's unreasonable to think that they could just put the Apocalypse issue to one side, and he's fairly sure that there were ulterior motives in play, but the idea that Lucifer wanted to help - he'd got his hopes up, probably far more than he should have.]

Whatever he wanted, it was probably bad. Guess you made the right choice.
