Kenzi [007] Accidental Video --> Audio

[The video turns on as Kenzi cracks the screen with a jagged shard of glass. The communicator is still on her wrist, filming the ceiling of the upstairs bathroom. The mirror has been shattered and most of the glass pieces have fallen to the floor, but a few remain in the frame. The hand that holds the larger piece is covered in blood. She appears to be sitting on the edge of the bathtub.

She swears and mumbles something in Russian before bringing the shard down again. The video cuts out.]

HA! Fucking-- try it now, you crusty, wrinkled-ass, bitch. Two down... a billion to go. Break the mirrors in your houses! Smash the hell out of them. Do it. It's the only way to keep her out-- [There's the sound of the shard hitting the floor and Kenzi cries out.]

Hale? Hale, you know what I'm talking about, right? You totes remember! ... Hale?

[Ooooow owowow. ow. OW! She hisses at that last one and keeps looking back to the pieces on the ground and then at the red all over. Almost done. Almost gone.]

Basically, yeah. But worse. Soooooo much worse. My mama told me stories about her to try to get be to behave. And then I met her in person. [He knows she does weird stuff. It's safe to tell Galen. He won't think she's crazy!]

Shit, really? And she... actually came out of the – [ He winces, ignores the voice he hears. ] – out of the mirror? [ He glances down at the mirror shards warily as he pulls the last couple out of Kenzi's arm and hand. Quickly, he takes the towel and wraps it around her worse-off arm (not the freaky arm, thank goodness), squeezes tightly. ]

Yeah. Came out of it. Sucked me into it. She does what she wants! Water works, too. If it's calm. If you have help-- fuckity ow!

[Squeezing HURTS. Even if it's not the freaky arm. She leans forward, resting her head against his shoulder and feeling dizzy.]

She's got ... a realm. It's separate. But sometimes she comes out to ruin lives and snatch up cute, rebellious, genius, really attractive and badass girls to shove in her OVEN.

[ Galen mutters a 'sorry', but keeps the pressure on for a few moments more, just to be safe. ] Hansel and Gretel style. Awesome. You -- are you sure she's here?

[Head-to-shoulder BONK.] Yes, I'm sure. I saw her in the mirror. Been seeing her for days! It all makes sense...

But it's weird, dude. I haven't seen any freaky old ladies, and we're in the same house. And -- you haven't seen my mom, and I haven't seen Jess's nightmare shit. [ Carefully, he eases off the pressure and pulls the towel from Kenzi's arm. It's bloody, but at least her arm looks like it's done bleeding. Phew. ] I don't know what that means, but you should really fuckin' stop smashing mirrors with your bare hands, Hulkzi.

[Yeah. Yeah, okay, that is weird. Really weird. But Baba Yaga explains everything! She's MAGICAL. Still, she's not arguing the stupidity of smashing a mirror bare handedly. She shrugs.] I panicked. Also, I'm so telling Bruce you said that!

... Do you think we have any dinosaur band aids? [Because that would be badass. She twitches, glaring at the remnants of glass and wrapping her weird-arm around Galen's neck. This was stupid. This was a stupid thing. Why did she do this. Her hand hurts so bad, her arm stings, her other arm is already fucked... at least Galen was here.]

[ Galen sighs and grins wearily, pausing as he rests Kenzi's hand on her knee to bring it up to his lips and kiss her knuckles semi-jokingly. ]

Lurve you too. Um -- wanna hang tight while I get some bandages?

She nods, folding her hands in her lap and staring at the ground.] I'll just wait right here.
