With everyone settled back in, I think it's time we go on a hunting trip together.

I don't think he'd take kindly to being trapped by his own kind. And I think he means to stay here.

He killed eighty people. He destroyed New York. If he goes back, he'll be tried and sent to prison. We'll be called in as witnesses.

Statute of limitations. It's been three hundred years for him. They can't try him. He's fine.

Look, we know he's dangerous. We can keep an eye on him and we'll be there if something goes wrong. But we can't leave him here.

[ Tony's killed a hell of a lot more than 80 people in his lifetime. Maybe not personally, but his weapons surely have. Ho Yinsen saved him anyway, gave him a second chance. He intends to do the same for Loki. ]

I hope you're kidding. There's no statute of limitation on murder, or international crime.

Look, I don't think leaving him here's the best idea, but that's what he chose, last time I talked to him. You want to give him freedom? Give him freedom of choice.

[ Swallowing his tea down in one long gulp, he heads back toward the kitchen. ]

Interdimensional travel. It's a slow go.

You're going to figure out interdimensional travel by yourself?

Why not? I figured out a lot of things by myself.

It's all equations right now. If I had the supplies to build the device, and I was that far along, yeah. Maybe. If you wanted to help with it. But right now, it's just scribbles on paper.

Is the metal I collected going to be enough?

Honestly, I don't know. This is—I never tried to build something like this. I don't have JARVIS, not really, to run the simulations. It's—I'll let you know when I think I've got enough to start building.

...I'll keep bringing metal back to the house.

When... everything settles down.

Good plan. We need you more than metal anyway. If everything gets back to normal, then we'll go back to normal too.

What we need is a plan. Something that isn't go out guns-blazing. Let's work on one, once we know who's doing what.

Experience says that that might be a good idea. Guns-blazing doesn't seem to be working so well for us. Yeah. Let's do it.
