[The contrast between Sherlock's usual appearance and his current one is sharp. He looks exhausted, the sort of utterly worn out that hides beneath a burning mania. He's disheveled, what little colour had once been in his face now utterly gone, and his eyes are glossy and feverishly bright. Not good, but who is right now?]

I've two words for the lot of you.

[If it weren't for the fact that his camera is strapped to his wrist, this would be where Sherlock grins and spreads his arms, invokes all the drama appropriate for the current situation. Under the circumstances he must settle for a grin that's manic but far from happy, the huff of a laugh, the sound all strained arrogance and guiltily repressed relief.]

Aerosol. Dispersal.

[He bites his lower lip, oh, oh, got it, must be.]

Saying it for years but nobody believes me: nothing new under the sun.

Have you ever tried approaching the violently paranoid for samples? No thanks, don't feel like being stabbed, shot, or pissed on today; why don't you do it if you're so keen on proof?

Because I leave the scientific stuff to those that can do it. I can't do the math. Never could.

Surely you can stick a needle in something... or does your lack of mathematical talent also affect your ability to manipulate objects? No, can't, some vague thought about physics might get in the way?

You're assuming I have a needle. [She tries to still the shaking in her hands.] Look, I'm very good at blowing things up, or mouthing off, or picking pockets, or, hell, if there's ductwork you need someone to crawl through? Totally your girl.

Medical things? I can stop someone from bleeding out. Well, most of the time. Scientific stuff? I fail, kinda epically. I wasn't even allowed into the science fairs, because I failed that badly. So, really, you don't want my help.
