[The contrast between Sherlock's usual appearance and his current one is sharp. He looks exhausted, the sort of utterly worn out that hides beneath a burning mania. He's disheveled, what little colour had once been in his face now utterly gone, and his eyes are glossy and feverishly bright. Not good, but who is right now?]

I've two words for the lot of you.

[If it weren't for the fact that his camera is strapped to his wrist, this would be where Sherlock grins and spreads his arms, invokes all the drama appropriate for the current situation. Under the circumstances he must settle for a grin that's manic but far from happy, the huff of a laugh, the sound all strained arrogance and guiltily repressed relief.]

Aerosol. Dispersal.

[He bites his lower lip, oh, oh, got it, must be.]

Saying it for years but nobody believes me: nothing new under the sun.

One of three options presented me thus far. That, or everything we're seeing and hearing is real, or -- this one's good, really brilliant -- or we're stuck in Russian fairy stories.

Of the three I'm afraid my answer rather does seem the most likely. Sad, yet true.

So what do we do to stop it? Is that why everyone's so crazy? I thought you were all just nuts. Is there an antidote?

Antidote, interesting question. I'd have to know what this is to answer that question, and I don't. Can't, likely, without a well-stocked lab which, as you may have noticed, we do not have.

Assuming I'm correct I suppose we could all just stop breathing.

[ She pauses a moment, clearing her throat as she thinks, and then continues a little less irritably. ]

Is there any way you can find out what this is? Samples or something? And in the mean time we could like...I don't know, are there masks here? Wet cloths even? We can't just sit here and get dosed with stuff, that sucks.

Oh, samples, certainly. Can't process them, no lab, but let's take them, yes. Wet cloths might filter some of it out. Might not. Worth a try. One of the stores may carry masks, tape for a better seal.

[Aside from that he's not certain there's anything they can do.]
