[ To anyone who has seen Galen over the course of this insanity, it's worth noting that when he appears on the feed, he looks more... present, and more like himself, than he has in days. He also looks exhausted, but that's a little, tired smile on his face. ]

Hey, uh... I hope everybody's okay. [ His nose scrunches a little, edging his glasses back up. ] I, uh. I wanted to apologize in case I like... you know, weirded anyone out while I was... gassed up? Is that what happened? Uh -- and is anyone else... coming down, I guess? I feel like shit, but I don't like... see anything. Anymore.

[ He clears his throat, scratches his head. ]

[ And a slight sneer of something of his own, eyebrows piquing. ]

[ A semi-apprehensive little smile. ] You guys've met, huh?

Sorta. We talked a couple'a times. [ I might've saved his life. ] He brought ya up once.

[ He grins a bit. ] Well I hope he didn't say anything too embarrassing.

Okay. Good. [ Now that he's calming a little, he feels like maybe he overreacted -- but in his experience, conversations that start like that usually aren't well-intended. Galen sighs, visibly deflates a bit. ]

How'd you two meet, anyway?

[ Jesse shrugs his shoulders, mostly just glad that little debacle was all over and done with for the time being. ] Word came down from the wrist things. When the, uh - shit was startin' to go down.

I told him he looked like shit. Guess we kinda hit it off.

[ Heh! ] Something about that doesn't surprise me. Did you like... get here just as shit was getting crazy?
