Has anyone seen Sam or Dean Winchester in the past few days?

[ He's actually concerned that Dean hadn't really come back at all. What if he'd been hallucinating? ]

Are--[ He's not sure of the best way to word this next question. ] Are Lucifer or Meg or Crowley really here?

[ How much of that had been in his own mind? How much had that drug affected him? ]

Azazel and Lucifer... I [ She pauses, trying to find the words. After all, she had been a number one Lucifer Loyalist back in the day. ] I did everything they asked of me. I would've died for them. I gave everything I had to them and their causes and it got me nothing. No Heaven. No paradise. In fact, all it did get me was a great big bullseye painted on my back when Crowley came along.

I fought tooth and nail for their causes and it got me no where. And now I'm your corner.

[ Castiel swallows. He's overwhelmed with the urge to just... touch her. If they were different people, he might hug her, but instead he opts for resting his hand on her shoulder. In some ways, he knows exactly how she feels. ]

Don't go getting sappy on me, Feathers. [ She appreciates the gesture though. That's practically glompage on the angel affection scale or something. Funny how a babysitting job of convenience blooms into a real friendship. ]

So, we going to look for Freckles or do we know enough about this place that it'd be a waste of time?

[ He shakes his head. He's thankful that she's willing to help him look, though. ]

I know we won't find him, but I don't know what else to do with myself. Can we just--I don't want to be in this house if they're not here.

There's a Monopoly board with your name on it at my place. Or we could go to the park. I'll let you pick.

Monopoly. [ He doesn't care about the game, but he'd like to stay at Meg's place for a little while. The park will just remind him of all the talks he's had with Dean there and Dean lives here. ] I'd like to play Monopoly with you.

As long as I get to be the little silver dog. [ Just like old times. Only Cas isn't exactly crazy any more. ]

[ He smiles a little. ]

[ The things she does for him! At least the crazy guy with the ukulele os nowhere in sight - otherwise she might be forced to gut him and use his entrails as garlands for the walls. Crazy or not, there is only so many times a person can be forced to listen to 'Three Blind Mice' before they snap. ]

Just for the record, in case your feathery butt is planning on moving in... I got the master bedroom.

[ Not that she needs to sleep, but there's a lack of entertainment, that she might as well sleep.

Course, he's that much like a lost little puppy that she probably wouldn't mind too much if he got on the bed with her. ]

[ He smiles and heads towards the door. He has a feeling he won't be coming back to this house for a while. ]

[ He shakes his head as he pulls the door open. ]

I'm no so sure that you could.

[ She arches a brow at him and heads through the door. ]

[ He follows her out and he finds himself hoping that she does try some time. ]
