[ Dean thought long and hard before he decided to do this, and even now he's not sure he should; half the people he remembers doing things to basically deserved it, but Chuck didn't, and that vampire guy with the rice didn't, and Cas... He's trying not to think about what he did to Cas. It's better that way. He's freaked that the whole trickster vibe went to his head the way it did, and he's freaked how quickly he settled right into it. The saddest, most pathetic freaking thing about it is that he can't remember being that happy in a long time.

Apologies aren't really... things... he likes to do, so he's not going to issue a general one. He's had a whole night to feel sick to his stomach, and he's spent most of today putting alcohol into that stomach, and now he's bolstered enough to sort of kind of vaguely dance around the idea that he's maybe kind of sorry for what he did.

He's sitting in the bar, and he reaches to pick up his beer again as he looks down into the feed. ]

In that whole... bodyswapping mess, I got dealt the trickster card. [ He sneaks a glance at her. Don't judge him; it wasn't intentional! ]

I went trickster on a few mooks who deserved it. Real douchebags. Now those douchebags have all their angel powers back again and they're not real happy.

[She just watches him.]

I heard about the trickster thing. Figured something had happened, because you managed to heal up a few things.

[ He snorts and takes a drink, but he's still smiling when he puts the drink down and looks down into the feed again. ]

[ He sighs and sets his beer down, staring down at the bottle. How the hell does he even begin to explain what she's missed? ]

Other than he's the king of Hell and I've got a couple archangels coming after me? Not much. It's been... Hell, Ellen, it's been years since I saw you. We put Michael and Lucifer in the Pit. Sam and me were trying to close the gates of Hell, like, permanently before I got yanked into here.

[Archangels, Crowley... right, she'll process that later. However, the old hunter in her latches onto one thing.]

[She pours herself another shot of whiskey, then gets up, gets him a glass and pours him one too.]
