[ Dean thought long and hard before he decided to do this, and even now he's not sure he should; half the people he remembers doing things to basically deserved it, but Chuck didn't, and that vampire guy with the rice didn't, and Cas... He's trying not to think about what he did to Cas. It's better that way. He's freaked that the whole trickster vibe went to his head the way it did, and he's freaked how quickly he settled right into it. The saddest, most pathetic freaking thing about it is that he can't remember being that happy in a long time.

Apologies aren't really... things... he likes to do, so he's not going to issue a general one. He's had a whole night to feel sick to his stomach, and he's spent most of today putting alcohol into that stomach, and now he's bolstered enough to sort of kind of vaguely dance around the idea that he's maybe kind of sorry for what he did.

He's sitting in the bar, and he reaches to pick up his beer again as he looks down into the feed. ]

Uh, so I'm guessing...

Everyone still here's back to normal now, huh? No more Freaky Friday?

Well, I don't know about that, Dean. I think my feelings are going to take a while to recover. My psychiatrist tells me I might never trust again.

Gabriel's feelings might not actually be hurt, and his arm's fine and to be honest he knows how funny he'd have found doing this to anyone else. And he's well aware that with all he's done to Dean in the past, he kinda deserved it. If Dean had been acting solely out of vengeance he'd have been a lot more okay with it, but it's his ego that this has hurt, and Dean laughing at his 'pain' does a lot more damage than the pain itself.]

But hey, that's okay. That makes one less person I have to bother playing nice with, and it gets so tiresome having to reign in the urge to make people's lives hell all the time. I'm sure you of all people understand that now, don'tcha?

[ Shit. He can't possibly be any more screwed than he already is, and there's no way he's groveling that intensely. That was actually it, right there, as far as he's willing to go on the please Gabriel don't line of reasoning. It's not really a surprise that he's died as much as he has in his life.

He takes a drink of beer -- his last drink? -- and then sets it down before he smiles into the camera. ]

Yeah, but you're not really a trickster. You're a dick on a power trip with a sweet tooth and a twisted sense of humor. Oh, and, a coward who hides behind the trickster thing to excuse all that other stuff. You can dish it out, but you can't take it.
