[ Dean thought long and hard before he decided to do this, and even now he's not sure he should; half the people he remembers doing things to basically deserved it, but Chuck didn't, and that vampire guy with the rice didn't, and Cas... He's trying not to think about what he did to Cas. It's better that way. He's freaked that the whole trickster vibe went to his head the way it did, and he's freaked how quickly he settled right into it. The saddest, most pathetic freaking thing about it is that he can't remember being that happy in a long time.

Apologies aren't really... things... he likes to do, so he's not going to issue a general one. He's had a whole night to feel sick to his stomach, and he's spent most of today putting alcohol into that stomach, and now he's bolstered enough to sort of kind of vaguely dance around the idea that he's maybe kind of sorry for what he did.

He's sitting in the bar, and he reaches to pick up his beer again as he looks down into the feed. ]

Uh, so I'm guessing...

Everyone still here's back to normal now, huh? No more Freaky Friday?

[OOC: Still going to be glacially slow, but my slowness doesn't mean Dean can dodge IC consequences! ]

[ To be completely fair, Dean asked if there was anything else. Chuck was simply answering his question.

And he sees the smile that spreads across Dean's lips right before he turns away. And maybe it's because Chuck is a human and not a Trickster, or maybe it's because he's Raphael's Father, or because he doesn't know what Raphael is going to do in Chuck's future, but he simply doesn't see the humor in the situation. ]

Well, I mean. Someone had to, right?

[ He makes a face. ] Did they? Really? I kinda liked him better that way.

[ He's not sorry. ]

[ Dean's picking up on that, and he thinks it's weird. Didn't Raphael come and blow Cas chunks into his hair once? Anyway, speaking of sorrys, here's one that actually needs to be said. ]

Listen, uh. About the whole... circle thing. [ He starts to go into an explanation, and then stops. ] Sorry. I could tell you what it was about, but it doesn't make it any less weird or dickish, which is a good tagline for my time in the trickster pen.

[ Oh look, a topic change that doesn't involve Raphael. Chuck has no problems making this conversational change. ]

Yeah, no, I--I get it. [ He doesn't, and maybe that's obvious for Dean to see as well, but Chuck can firmly push that under the Supernatural things I don't understand rug and move on with his life. It's quite a big rug at this point, but hey, what else can he do? ]

I mean, everyone was acting kind of... strange. [ He's thinking of Balthazar, specifically, even if he doesn't say it. ]

[ Dean doubts he gets it, but he doesn't want to say that he was trying to save Chuck from doing something worse that would then require Dean doing something worse because it sounds like too much of an excuse, and it's flimsy anyway. ]

You can say that again. What else happened to you?

I, uh... found a dead body?

[ Half of one, technically. And he may or may not have had a complete panic attack about it because yep, that sure was a thing. ]

[venatical]

Oh. Aren't you lucky? Was it anyone we know?

[godsprophet]

[ He's not sure he would call it lucky. He shakes his head. ]

No, I hadn't ever seen her before. [ Beat. ] But then... I mean, I'm pretty sure she came back to life.
