Okay, so, that was fun.

[Her tone clearly implies that it was anything but.]

I just wanted to say thank you to the people that helped me when I was, uh, a little mangled. I know there was a lot of weirdness going on and I just wanted to say thanks for helping me out when you guys were all messed up. Too. When you were messed up too. Because I was, obviously.

[Nice save, Riley. Her smile had almost fallen off at that, but she pasted it back on brightly, smiling into the communicator.]

I hope the rest of you are doing better now that everything's back to normal. Or, you know, as normal as it gets around here. I'm here if anyone needs me.

[Not that she thought that would happen, but hey, it was always better to offer.]

So... what were you? Because, um, those were some weird chompers.

Leviathan. [He smiles grimly.] Frankly, I don't know how I managed to get through it without eating half the town.

[She frowns a little.]

I thought leviathans were ocean creatures?

[tryingitall]

[He shrugs.] They might have been, originally. In the primordial ocean of chaos before any other life existed.

But my world's legends and yours may not be the same, and they're such ancient creatures, I'm not sure anyone living knows much about them.

Whatever they are, I hope they're extinct, because you were kinda freaky looking with the monster maw.

[He chuckles and shakes his head.] Not extinct, as far as I know, but they're usually safely locked up. And I hope never to become one again.

[undomesticated]

I'd like to second that. I might also want to take you up on a run in the woods sometime. It might be safer to do in pairs after what I've seen.

[tryingitall]

[Truth be told, he's not much of a runner, but he does like the woods, and after hunting there for a few days, he feels as though he knows how far in he can go without trouble. He smiles.]

You're right there. Definitely safer in a pairs or groups. I'm game, just let me know when you're looking for the company.

I might steal you tomorrow, if you think you can keep up.

[There might have been the smallest hint of a tease to her voice.]

Steal me? What makes you think I'm not being given away free?

But yes, tomorrow suits me fine. Come by number eleven when you want to go, or call me over the network.

[She was trying not to smile. She was failing.]
