Day 65 [video]
[Dilandau's out in the grassy land near the beach, sweating from a recent bout of intensive exercise]
Have you finally stopped apologising now? [He doesn't hide the curl of his lip that shows how little he thinks of such gestures] I need a sparring partner, so if any of you demons have a sword and know how to use it, tell me. I start working at dawn.
[He pauses, narrowing his eyes]
And I don't want any of you to start telling me swords don't exist in your worlds too. I'm sick of hearing about how alien you all are.

He licks his lips and asks his first question.]
What are you?
no subject
[ He didn't deny that, he didn't care who knew it. ]
no subject
[Though his mind is milling with theories. Perhaps this creature is from the gap between the worlds?]
Where do you come from?
no subject
[ No reason all Creations need to be the same. ]
Heaven. Myself and my brothers rule Heaven, and watch over Earth and it's life, among other duties.
no subject
Forgive me for my tongue. I didn't know your kind would honour us with your presence directly.
[He's hardly breathing out of fear that this god might strike him down. Their kind isn't known for their kindness to those who slight them.]
no subject
This place is small, and I have no intermediaries.
[ Otherwise, he wouldn't. Raphael isn't in the smitting mood - though as Brigid had warned, he is not kind, though he is capable of compassion. ]
You had questions.
[ It should be a question, but it isn't. ]
no subject
His throat is dry with fear as he asks the questions he came to seek.]
The woman Brigid told me you could vouch for her good nature. She claims she's not a criminal though she's hunted by men who aren't stopped by the authorities of her land. Is this true?
no subject
Yes it is truth. She's still a child in some ways, and regardless, has done no wrong.
[ Not even in staying Raphael could vouch for her. ]
no subject
Is she one of your worshippers?
[He believes what Raphael says, but it's known that the gods can be biased. Of course, if this is a powerful god he'd best be wary of crossing a favoured mortal, even if she's not what he expects]
What is your domain of power, Archangel?
no subject
She is one of my Father's devout, and long ago the young where placed under my protection, for me to watch over and intercede with.
[ He's biased - no one said he had to be fair. ]
The air, the young, animals, fishermen, those who heal. God left all of Creation to the rule of the archangels.
no subject
O Raphael of the Heavens... [He takes a shallow breath, thinking of how to phrase what he wishes to know without causing offence. It's not something he's used to considering.]
Do you choose to manifest in this land to guide us?
no subject
My siblings and I are trapped here with the rest of you.
no subject
May I be permitted to know their names and their domains, o Raphael of the Children?
no subject
[ More leverage in this game of sorts he had with Gabriel. ]
no subject
O Raphael, am I permitted to leave your glorious presence?
[His knees are aching and he needs to get out before he slips up and this being kills him. The stress is making him feel faint]
no subject
You may depart.
[ He isn't overly invested one way or another. ]
