010; accidental video/action; early hours of day 75

[ Of course she's been trying to leave since the moment she had been taken, but it hasn't worked. Each and every attempt had been completely unsuccessful, with literally no effect whatsoever.

Until, that is, when one attempt finally does work.

The feed kicks in with enough time to show little more than white light, almost like there's a problem with the video, and there's the faint sound of wings. It fades fast though, along with the light, and it's replaced with the slightly dishevelled looking face of one missing angel. She's out of breath, a little dizzy and definitely disoriented, but the one thing she does before anything else is drop a hand over the communicator. It's black for a few seconds while she fumbles with the buttons, and then the feed cuts out.

[ She's just going to go ahead and ignore that, because in case things weren't obvious enough she really isn't in the mood for snide comments right now. Except Meg asks about Lucifer, and that's enough to get her attention at least. ]

He's missing?

[ That's not good. Both of them missing at the same time- how long has it even been? A day? A week? The angels can't be coping well.

And now only one of them have returned. Great. ]

No day trips out this time.

Apparently whoever brought us here likes to show off their power by sending archangels on their way. If you're back and Lucifer's not, I can only imagine that they're drilling into his dear old head or he's back home.

Either way, isn't so good for the rest of us. If they have the power to yank an archangel around on a leash... Who other than God himself would have that power?

[ See? Meg can be serious when she needs to be. ]

[ Thank God for that, because Anna wouldn't exactly take too kindly to flippancy about the loss of family right now. Lucifer, yes, but there had been progress, right? Slow, certainly, but progress all the same. Now he's been taken, and any chances at that progress might be lost. ]

Evidently our captors have made the list too. Perhaps that's the point. A display of power. [ An unpleasant thought, but one to be entertained all the same. ] Maybe the reason they're screwing with the angels is to show how untouchable they are.

[foundacause]

Oh goodie. Our captors want to show us how big their balls are - lucky us.

[ Okay, okay, it didn't last, but snark aside, the fact remains... ]

[ She scowls, but- whatever. It's Meg, she's always like this. No use picking fights, especially not ones that she doesn't quite trust herself to win right now. ]

Well whatever it is, they've got juice. Trumps anything from our world as far as I've seen. They're messing with three archangel here - who's that stupid?

[ Well, two now... ]

Well~ The Winchesters are that stupid. But not that powerful.

....Point. [ Thank Christ for that one, huh? They get themselves into enough trouble without even more means to do it. ]

They'll make a mistake. Eventually. Something's gotta give.

[ Empty words delivered without conviction. The protest is more habit than anything these days. Besides, she's hardly champing at the bit to go back to Heavenly lock-up. ]

I can think of worse places to be than here. They call this torture? I call it tickling.

[ And while she's here, she isn't in Hell. It's win/win as far as she's concerned. Besides, her angel is here. Only thing missing is the Moose. ]

Sme people have lives to get back to.

[ She's kind of with Meg on this though. She has her hell waiting, and Anna has hers. Prison, and a fate she still can't see a way out of. A fate she still doesn't know enough about yet, honestly. ]

Not everyone here has death and destruction waiting for them to return to.

It seems death and destruction are only waiting for those who are bestest best friends with the Winchesters. Oh, lucky us!

Can't argue that logic.

[ And okay, that actually gets a genuine laugh from her. Sorry boys, but it's kind of true. ]

So the feather flock on their way to you or do I have the honour of bringing of the welcome flags?

[ Give her a moment to listen in a little. She pauses, frowning as she focuses, then just nods. ]

Someone's on their way. Kind of hard to make a subtle entrance when getting back onto the radar sends flares out to every brother here.

Ah, good ol' Angel FM. Can't beat it.

Heaven's forbid we get to keep any secrets around here.

[ Pun totally not intended. ]

Secrets are over-rated.

[ Unless it is secrets about how much in love with an angel you are. Those ones should be kept hidden. ]

[ Secrets are hardly secrets when people are starting to suspect, Meg. Sure doesn't help the cause when certain unfriendly residents spread rumours about the town, but even so. ]

When they're other peoples, perhaps. When they're my own I prefer a little subtlety.

You could always smite everybody else. Your secrets would be safe then.

I might regret this one, but for now at least I prefer my brothers alive.

Oh good. Me too. Well, some of them, at least.

Family, huh? Can't live with them, can't live...with them.

[ Or so she assumes, anyway. Sorry Meg, she doesn't exactly know much about the brotherly sisterly bond (or perhaps lack thereof) of demons. ]

[ Demons aren't exactly the kiss and cuddles and Sunday dinner around the table kind of people. Most demons care for no one but themselves. It's not exactly a happy family unit. ]

I'll stick with my angel and my pet Winchester I think.
