010; accidental video/action; early hours of day 75

[ Of course she's been trying to leave since the moment she had been taken, but it hasn't worked. Each and every attempt had been completely unsuccessful, with literally no effect whatsoever.

Until, that is, when one attempt finally does work.

The feed kicks in with enough time to show little more than white light, almost like there's a problem with the video, and there's the faint sound of wings. It fades fast though, along with the light, and it's replaced with the slightly dishevelled looking face of one missing angel. She's out of breath, a little dizzy and definitely disoriented, but the one thing she does before anything else is drop a hand over the communicator. It's black for a few seconds while she fumbles with the buttons, and then the feed cuts out.

I was worried. We all were. [But she's okay, or so she says, and he begins to calm slowly, resisting the urge to fly out and meet her. At least until he's asked to.]

Lucifer vanished, too. Did you see him at all? Raphael...is concerned. [Understatement of the year, but she'll get what he means.]

Also, Samandriel's showed up. Injured when he arrived, but he's getting better.

[ Lucifer's gone, Samandriel is here...she's missed a lot it seems. All of which wouldn't be frustrating if it not were for the fact that the memories that might be ale to give them some answers have been plucked from her mind. ]

I don't know. I don't think so. I don't...remember enough. I can't say for sure.

[ There's a chance he could have been there. For all Anna knows the whole garrison was, but she doesn't remember any sign of him at all. It doesn't seem likely. Still, she doesn't quite want to say that just yet, so instead she focuses on the second piece of news. ]

He got here injured? What happened?

Try not to stress about it. You ought to recover first. That's what's most important. [That, and the fact that she's back, and in one piece, and they didn't lose her.]

It sounds as though he was tortured for information, back in his own timeline. I didn't want to ask him for details; he seemed shaken up.

[ He probably has a point, but waiting to worry is hardly one of Anna's strong points. She'll let it know for now, but that doesn't mean she's not quietly worrying about that. They'd almost been getting somewhere towards trying to repair the fractured relationship with Lucifer. And now he's gone.

If there's anything to distract her from that worry, it's the onslaught at the mention of torture. They're torturing angels back home now? There's no way that can be good, and try as she might to hide it there's no denying the concern that filters through in her reply. ]

...At least he's here now. We can keep him safe.

[ As much as any of them can, anyway. ]

[There's always a chance he'll return, of course, with or without memory intact. Balthazar's not sure the latter would be a good situation. But there's nothing they can do now.]

I don't think Raphael will be letting him out of his sight any time soon.

[Actually, he's starting to worry more about the archangel. It's nice to be cared for, but the stress can't be good for Raphael. Plus, it's going to get smothering in short order.] You're coming back to the house, right? I'll see you there.
