010; accidental video/action; early hours of day 75

[ Of course she's been trying to leave since the moment she had been taken, but it hasn't worked. Each and every attempt had been completely unsuccessful, with literally no effect whatsoever.

Until, that is, when one attempt finally does work.

The feed kicks in with enough time to show little more than white light, almost like there's a problem with the video, and there's the faint sound of wings. It fades fast though, along with the light, and it's replaced with the slightly dishevelled looking face of one missing angel. She's out of breath, a little dizzy and definitely disoriented, but the one thing she does before anything else is drop a hand over the communicator. It's black for a few seconds while she fumbles with the buttons, and then the feed cuts out.

I told him, but he wouldn't listen. I think I may need to start being more open about what we are. I won't tell them about you, but they might listen to me if they know what I am.

[ It's not an easy decision after he's spent months hiding his nature. ]

[ There's a bit of a delay after that, because as much as she hates to admit it Castiel is right. She's been incredibly self indulgent in hiding her nature, but maybe it's time the lies stopped.

Maybe, but it's a big decision. A big decision and Anna has had entirely too much happen already to make that big decision today. ]

Just...give me a little while longer. There are some people who should know first.

[ Who should have known a long time ago, but that's neither here nor there. ]

Give me some time, and then I'll be right behind you.

Take your time. If that's your decision, we'll do this together. None of us have to be alone.

[ He knows that their reasons for secrecy are very different and the longer he's here with no sign of the Leviathan, the more sure he is that keeping what he is a secret does more harm than good. However Anna wants to handle this, he'll back her up. He understands so much more now than he did when she left. ]

[ It's something she's been weighing up for a while, there's no denying that. The longer she's here, the more time passes, the more the guilt weighs on her to come clean. it's not exactly the easiest thing to bring up, though.

Castiel, though. That's a bit of a game changer. If he;s there, if he does it too... Maybe it won't be so hard to confess if she's not the only one. ]

Together, then. Just remind me about this conversation when I try to back out, won't you?

[ A.k.a. when she remembers that she's basically going to be telling all of the people she's grown close to that she's been lying. ]

[ Because she left, not to run away, but to discover the unknown. She took so many risks and she faced them head-on. ]

[ Goddamnit Cas, you're actually getting a fond smile out of her. It's not the first time that she's had to appreciate just how glad she is that he's here with him, that they're repairing fragile bonds. He's her brother, after all. All she ever wanted was for him was to find the right path. ]
