It's in the middle of the Amazon. About a mile away from one of the indigenous tribes there. My dad's an anthropologist who studies the cultural significance of the modern world on segregated tribes and clans like that and we all just went along for the ride.

But this lagoon is this pretty little space. Well, it's not really a lagoon, it's more like a little pond or watering hole, but I always thought of it as a lagoon. It has this waterfall that just trickles into it instead of pouring and the water's that perfect just almost cool temperature. There's orchids and passion flowers that make it small like this wonderful little oasis and there's a cupuaƧu tree not far so you can grab some and eat them while you swim.

The trees are so thick, you can't see the sky for the canopy of leaves above you and all you can hear is the sound of everything around you. Birds, frogs, snakes, monkeys. It's perfect.
