[ Video ]
[ Castiel's presence can be felt by the other angels just before the recording comes on.
When the video comes on, it's shaky and it quickly becomes clear that he's crawling on the beach. He pauses and then it shows his throat more than his face and there's a deep cut across the center of it, but rather than bleeding, it's glowing silver. His skin is covered in wet sand and when the video finally shows his face, his hair is wet and matted with sand, as well. ]
I think I need help.
[ His voice is scratchy and raw and the words can be heard on angel radio at the exact same time.
The video cuts out. ]
OOC: He won't be answering anyone right away and anyone who looks for him at the beach will find that he's gone. He'll be going to find Dean and then answering any responses to this about an hour or two later, so please feel free to factor that into your character's response.

[ That's about the only positive thing he can say right now, but he's at least capable of keeping his composure, even if he lost it in front of Dean. ]

[ It's far too mild, too polite - almost sarcastic because of it. ]
So you just decided to let your Grace shine for the world to see?
[ Really Raphael is just...too used to lying to his brothers, but his tone is more careful, more bland and flat. ]
You did? How so?

[ He doesn't quite sound his usual composed self. Just thinking about that leaves him shaking. ]
How many times have I been made to forget things, brother?

[ That's really what he's focused on - he knows shouldn't have been Naomi. ]
More than most, less than others. Do you actually want to talk about it like this?

[ It's not that he doesn't trust the almost-peace between them, but he doesn't trust him on this subject, not after what Naomi said. ]
It was Metatron. You may be interested to know that he's angry at all of us.

[ It's forcibly casual. ]
Why is he angry at the lot of you?
[ Oh but there's a shimmering anger of his own there, about that particular brother. ]
Why did he try to rip your Grace out?

[ He know this next part is going to make Raphael angry and he's thankful this conversation isn't happening in person. ]
My grace is an ingredient for a spell. He wants to expel all of the angels from Heaven and punish all of us.

[ They had been nice, at first. But archangels had their jealous streaks and worse Metatron has refused to work with their planning - tempers had flared after a while. ]
He wants to do what?
[ Raphael heard him just fine - it's disbelief and anger that prompts the comment, though not (yet) anger directed at Castiel. Still, his anger is almost tangible. ]

[ And according to Dean, he's about to succeed. Castiel failed to protect them again. All he'd wanted was to bring what was left of Heaven back together and he'd been prepared to sacrifice anything to get that. ]

[ It's not a ploy - there's very genuine confusion to his tone. He don't understand why Metatron is after the other angels. ]
We thought he was just angry with us. If I would have known, I would have.
[ That's as much of an apology as he's going to be able to give. ]
How's your throat?

It hurts. Gabriel is helping.
[ He's a little surprised that Raphael is showing such open concern. It's not that he's naive enough to think that Raphael wishes him senseless harm, but there's been so much conflict between them and he's not entirely sure where they stand with each other. It's comforting to know that at the end of the day, they're on the same side here, even if that isn't true anywhere else. ]

[ There's much bad blood, yes, but there's something far stronger in Raphael's mind - they are brothers. He can't forgive some of what Castiel has done, but ultimately, brothers are brothers and that matters more than almost everything else. ]

[ He feels guilty, but part of him is almost relieved to be back here, especially if he'll go back to his time again after a while, which seems to be the case. He feels so tired and this is a much-needed break in a lot of ways. It's a chance to catch his breath before he has to go back to something that he knows will be even worse. It's always worse. ]
