[ Castiel's presence can be felt by the other angels just before the recording comes on.

When the video comes on, it's shaky and it quickly becomes clear that he's crawling on the beach. He pauses and then it shows his throat more than his face and there's a deep cut across the center of it, but rather than bleeding, it's glowing silver. His skin is covered in wet sand and when the video finally shows his face, his hair is wet and matted with sand, as well. ]

I think I need help.

[ His voice is scratchy and raw and the words can be heard on angel radio at the exact same time.

The video cuts out. ]



OOC: He won't be answering anyone right away and anyone who looks for him at the beach will find that he's gone. He'll be going to find Dean and then answering any responses to this about an hour or two later, so please feel free to factor that into your character's response.

[ That lays entirely on Anna right now. Sometimes it is a little concerning that his name seems to never give him away, not that he always remembers to give it. ]

[ His lip twitches. ]

My name is Castiel.

[magnets]

Castiel. [ It sounds a little clunky in his mouth, unpracticed, but he nods along. ] Cool, cool name. I can dig it.

How come a promise? What's so secret about it?

That isn't really any of your business.

[ One of the human lessons he's still working on is tact. ]

[magnets]

Well, fine, yo, I was just askin'.

[ It's okay, Cas. That's one a lot of people don't have down yet. ]

It's, uh, Jesse. Jesse Pinkman.

[happytobleed]

And I was simply informing you that you'll know when the time is right, Jesse.

[ Some humans are so touchy... ]

[magnets]

Castiel. [ He tries out the name again, briefly, cocks his head to the side a little before he asks: ] How'm I gonna know when that is?

[happytobleed]

[ There's just barely almost a hint of a smirk. ]

You'll know.

[magnets]

[ He gets a pause and then some more deadpan staring back at him. ]
