video || Day 83
[Charlie doesn't look so good right now. Seems to be a theme with him when he's desperate enough to actually post on this thing. But the welled up anger and frustration about this whole situation is itching under his skin to do something. Like subject the whole town to his dark-circled eyes and ridiculous curly haystack of hair. You're welcome.]
Anyone got a fucking soup recipe or some shit? Like we even got anything to fucking cook with.
I got shit to trade for it if you do got any.
[He gives the camera a glare, clearly seeing if he has any other reason to say anything. Apparently not. The feed ends.]
[ooc: After the 'Meyer getting attacked by a tiger' plot. Charlie is home with the sicky and not happy about it.]

[ He pauses a second and then, ] Yeah, yeah, I think if you pour a beer in the water? Gives it more, like, flavor. Saw it on TV once or somethin'. What've ya even got around the house?
no subject
Sounds like a fucking waste of beer.
I dunno. Some canned shit. Ain't no one got much these days.

The fuck are you doing out of bed, Meyer?
Re: Action
[His throat is unbearably dry, and he has to clear it before speaking.]
I'm thirsty. I came to get water.
no subject
[Jesus, Meyer. You're not letting him attempt to take care of you properly. He puts the can down on the counter and walks over to take Meyer's arm, maybe a little more firmly than he should.]
You look like fucking passing out, okay.

action
so much for his day of doing nothingwith a pie in one hand and a large glass tupperware full of bones for making stock in the other. ][ He's just glad that his housemates are better hunters than he is and none of them too keen on eating all of the animal. Nothing should go to waste, though, and Ned knows from cooking school that this sort of thing is very healthy for someone who has lost a lot of blood and needs to replenish iron and other vitamins. He shuffles the items into one hand, balancing the pie on the tupperware to knock on the door ]
action
He looks even more run down when he opens the door, hair standing on end and dark circles under his eyes. But he stands aside to let Ned in.]
Figured I'd be seeing you.

Meat pie, and some bones you can boil to make broth. [ He announces, setting the things on the counter. Initially, his plan had been just to explain out loud to Charlie how to make stock, but he changes his mind. He isn't going to be able to remember steps and details in the state he's in. So Ned pulls out the little pad of paper he carries with him (thinks as he does about the fact that Meyer does the same, and how the two of them are absurd in some of the same ways) and starts writing out ingredients and instructions for Charlie. He rips off the page and sets it on top of the tupperware which he stashes in the fridge. ]
[ All of which keeps him busy and distracted enough to work his way up to asking: ] How's he doing?
no subject
[After being given drugs, obviously. Charlie's been beaten up a few times (never by a tiger, though) so he knows to sleep through the first few days if you can. The pain is manageable after that. So he's mostly been plying Meyer with booze and heroin every time he tries to get up.]
When he ain't he keeps trying to get out of bed, the fucker.

[Hi, Charlie.]
audio:
I got a few offers, yeah. People sure do a lot with no fucking ingredients.
Re: audio:
Do you need help making soup or are you good? And why do you need soup? Are you sick?
[Yes that's what she associates soup with.]
Re: audio:
