As far as I can tell, you've just wasted my time. And from that alone, I already know you're the Doctor's new little companion. Enjoy his particular brand of whiny angst and fleeting sitcom style romance. Will they, won't they? Oh it's all so magical! [He can't help being sarcastic, this is such a trend lately.] Little advise? All you have to do is save the world and he might finally, you know, value you in the future.

He has to be hero. Or just the focal point of everything. Time Lords, no matter how they are or who they are, they all have massive egos that can't be benched.

[She chuckles.]

I fancy myself a gigantic egotist and I really have no shame. And yet I'm still playing second fiddle to him in that department. It's actually rather depressing. [And he means that modestly... weirdly enough.]

A bit obsessive, I think. Is the entirety of time and space not big enough for more than one of you? Is that why you're the last two?

...I have no idea where you pulled that assumption from. There was a universe full of billions of us. Our egos clashed often but that's not exactly something that can't be handled. The reason why there is only two, occasionally one, of us left is because we had a slight -- incident. Let's say no more, shall we? It doesn't put your prince charming in the best light. Or our people.

Prince Charming? Now that's a wild assumption.

You don't fancy him, do you?

No, it's really not. You're not as hard to read as you probably think. First off, you're playing companion and the vast majority fall for him near instantly. I always go with majority ruling. And then there's the whole 'not quite friends' issue. It's rather glaringly obvious-- I swear to Omega, that man is always looking to play with the local girls. Pathetic.

[Perhaps he should try and use being a Time Lord to pick up chicks?]

What does that word mean? You keep bringing it up.

Companion? Someone the Doctor takes around with him to show off. Like a pet or something, I never quite understood it. He falls in love with near eighty percent of them, has a fondness for them being around seventeen to twenty. Or looking it. Generally goes for cute little earth girls. Considering he's in his thousands, I naturally find the whole ordeal a little ... dodgy.

Is that a standard practice of Time Lords?

No, that's his perversion. Most of us keep to ourselves, sometimes make friends about the universe but he tends to take people. Weird practise as well. He picks them up, shows them the universe then dumps then back when he gets bored of them-- erm, that's if they don't die first.
