Third Drink | Video | Day 97

[Ellen doesn't look real happy. She's not, but normally she's a bit better at hiding it.]

New batch is out of the still but it's weaker than the last one. If anyone wants a bottle, stop by and pick it up.

[She sips water out of a glass. She's got other things to say.]

We're going to need things to run through the still. Rice, oats, cornmeal, frozen fruit, anything that can be run through the still.

If you find anything in the forest, dandelions can be used to make wine, too.

[She almost turns it off, but stops for a second.]

Also, got a haunch of venison, if anyone's willin' to trade for it.

You're too kind.

Then I guess your friends must be very lucky people.

[It's a casual reminder that he's not one of them. He's certainly not one to judge her for torture, it's not that, but the friend of his enemy is - until proven otherwise - suspicious. He doesn't know what (if anyting) Meg's done to her, but he knows Ellen's a friend of Dean's. He's done enough to Dean in the past that he's a little wary of finding himself in Meg's shoes one of these days.]

What with the pest control services and the bartending and the moonshine supply and all, that is. It's very altruistic of you.
hung_garian: (I like you)

[Oh, goodness. Tension about demons and issues of allegiance aside, he just physically can't pass that up.]

Yeah? Well, friends or not, anyone who so much as talks to me has a good chance of getting lucky... if you're interested.

[Cue eyebrow-waggling and smirking.]

And it'll help pass the time, too.
hung_garian: (Gosh I'm sorry; were those your feelings)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2013-08-04 07:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Lucifer and Raphael are boring.

[No offence.]
hung_garian: (And that's how we got banned from Paris)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2013-08-05 08:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Wouldn't be such a bad thing if the track their minds were capable of was a slightly more interesting one.
hung_garian: (Don't you use your logic at me)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2013-08-06 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
There is if you're focused on something dumb.

[What? They're his brothers, he can be childish if he likes.]
hung_garian: (Don't make me get the mistletoe)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2013-08-06 10:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Lucifer's life's work revolved around eradicating mankind, last time I checked. Don't tell me you're defending that.
hung_garian: (And that's how we got banned from Paris)

I'm not as obsessed with the Winchesters and their motley gang of misfits as you people seem to think.

[He did know, vaguely. In all honesty, though, he hadn't been paying all that much attention - he certainly doesn't know the details, beyond that Team Free Will had made a misguided attempt to stop Lucifer, and that two of them had died doing it. He'd mostly been staying out of the way. Lucifer had taught him most of what he knew about hiding: getting too close was a risk he wasn't willing to take just for the sake of observing.]

But I didn't think you were exactly pleased with him, no. Just pointing out that there really is something wrong with him being quite so single-minded about his life's work, at least from your perspective.
hung_garian: (300 channels and nothing's on)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2013-08-07 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Nothing you need to do about it, sweetheart. It's all been taken care of back home, and here - well, he's not exactly a threat while he's off being experimented on and tortured by scientists.
hung_garian: (Guilty as charged)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2013-08-08 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
What? That that's where he is, or that the Brothers Dim eventually shove his ass back into time-out?

[He'll assume the former, and continue on the basis of that without ... actually waiting for an answer.]

He's been MIA about a month now. If he's still around here and just... [in agonising pain and/or the kind of captivity Gabriel knows he loathes] in custody, he'll be seriously pissed when he gets back. It's best if he's gone home.

[For everyone else, ostensibly. Best for Lucifer is higher on Gabriel's list of priorities most of the time, though.]

Yeah. Here's hoping.

[He stops, tilts his head. It's Castiel-esque.]

Moonshine shouldn't have much effect on Balthazar. Not if it's the kind that's actually non-fatal to humans.
hung_garian: (Those were the days)

[personal profile] hung_garian 2013-08-10 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
How generous of you.

[A pause and then, because he doesn't think she has any reason to harm Balthazar but he can't be sure:]

You slip anything in his drink like you did to Meg, and I'll make the Saw movies look like a walk in the park, alright?
