Well, folks, guess I'm chief of medical now. How's it going? I'm Dr. Bruce Banner, physicist and physician.

I would like to reiterate the request that you fill me in on some basic medical facts. I'm only asking so I can fill in your charts here, so if you're ever half-eaten by a robot bear, I know not to give you penicillin or codeine or the wrong kind of blood. It'll be bad enough being half-eaten without having an adverse reaction to the treatment, you know?

Filling me in on prior medical history would be a plus. Checkup's optional. You can swing by the clinic and fill out a piece of paper with everything on it yourself, or you can reply here. If you don't want to do it, whatever, but you're waiving your right to sue me for malpractice.

If you don't have medical allergies, or don't know your blood type, or don't want to tell me, that's fine. I would like to ask that you just reply to this with your name or a fake name or something witty, just so I can get a headcount. When we first showed up, Phil took a little census, but we've had people go missing and had some new arrivals since then. It feels like it's time for another one.

I don't exactly have a medical history, have no allergies, and I'm not so sure if my blood would even be compatible with anyone else around here. I know this isn't very helpful, but I thought I should at least let you know what the situation is. I'd also appreciate it if you kept this to yourself.

[ Her pause is awkward, and when she continues it's a bit quieter. ]

Listen, I spoke to Mina but since she's not involved with this any more, I'll tell you too. If....you're ever at a loss with someone, they're injured beyond your capabilities or sick and can't be made better, let me know. I can help.

[Bruce hesitates, pen in hand. He knows he isn't about to make any kind of specific notes about someone's... specialness. Maybe he'll code this on as '911.']

I appreciate that. While I respect what you're trying to do for this town, it can't do much for me anyway. And no offence, but I kind of don't trust you all just yet.

[ It's said as kindly as she can manage, but it's still the truth. She's taken some risks in even offering her help, she doesn't exactly want to be putting all her cards on the table just yet. ]

No offense taken. I really could just be some whackjob pretending to be a doctor; who's going to know? [He grins, even though he shouldn't really be planting seeds of doubt. It's true though.] Promise I'm a doctor, though. You can quiz me if you want.

Oh, I'm sure you are a doctor. Whether or not you're a whackjob.. [ She Laughs, soft and under her breath but it's still audible over the feed. ] The jury is still out on that one.

I wouldn't call it good. For a long time I was under the impression that my job description was helping people, so call it habit. [ The question isn't answered until after a pause though, and her response is much more slow, words clearly being chosen carefully. ]

In a nutshell, Ohio. Though it seems my world is quite different from most of the peoples here.

[Bruce's eyes narrow, not that she can see, which is why he's okay with narrowing them.]

Yeah, I've heard about that. It's why I stick to volunteer work. [...now. Unless there's a tesseract. And okay, that's not the whole reason.]
